“Friendly staff, rooms are in great shape. I did have a room where the AC didnt work and I was moved to a different room with no issues. Good location, can be a little loud due to road noise during the day but it is better than other hotels I have stayed in. Beds are comfortable, appliances work well. Rooms are well lit, and good water pressure in the showers.”
“Our room had a great view of a museum courtyard, staff was incredibly accommodating and kind.
The room itself was lovely and the overall vibe of the hotel is super chill and welcoming. Be mindful that if you need a fridge and didn't book a room with a mini bar you will have to request one, and they are limited.”

The building is soooo impressive.
Hotel bar is great and mix amazing cocktails.
Also - location. The Lord location is prime. Walking distance to so many areas downtown.
Gotta stress that part before talking about what can be improved.
The building, the loby, the facilities are all very impressive, but the rooms feel dated and cheap.
This can be a real gem if the esthetics and style of the public areas could drip into the rooms themselves.”

“The the staff is so good, very clean rooms.
The only concerns are: 1.Smokers, yet they say it's a smoke free area and they were 3 ladies on Sunday smoking near the elevator of the ground floor. 2. Monday morning around 1am someone came banging on doors.”
“The property is what is expected at the price point. The place was very quiet which I appreciated. Some of the furnishings in the small lobby area definitely show wear and tear. My room was nice and clean and though I came with my own towel I noticed the towels there weren’t paper thin. The free breakfast was limited (again it matches the price point). My only irritation was when I was attempting to get something to drink from the juice dispenser I was having an issue and didn’t know if it was out or I was doing something wrong … there was one other person in the space with me and she was getting breakfast as well, I didn’t know she was staff because she wasn’t in a uniform and she simply looked at me while I was talking to myself about what I could be doing wrong. I realized she was a member of staff when she walked into the staff only room (no why would you as an employee try to assist me or tell me it’s broken). Nevertheless when I saw another young lady that come out of that room and was grabbing a bite I asked her about the dispenser and she tried it and realized it was working but was empty and apologized for the inconvenience. No juice for me. Just a brief overnight so I didn’t see or use any other amenities. There is nothing in the immediate area so you’ll need to drive or prepare to Uber everywhere.”

“New go to Hilton when in the area. So clean, well maintained. I love Natocha at the front desk, she’s so friendly and accommodating. Always gives me fresh cookies. The breakfast is worth it, very good quality food and it’s made to order. Omelettes are sooo good. Will always return when in the area”

“So I had never been to Arundel before, and it's sort of in the middle of nowhere. So you would think this hotel would be a middle of nowhere establishment, but it feels like it could be in Los Angeles or New York City. It's clean, cool, peppy, engaging. I really loved this hotel.”
“I had the wonderful opportunity and experiemce to stay at this beautiful Hotel in Virginia. From my entrance of meeting the Staff during arrival, to check-in and during interactions with them daily in the corridors.
They were all very polite, friendly and a joy to talk to. A very professional and Classy group.
The Rooms made me want to move-in forever; the nice soft white fluffy bedding, the warm natural smell of their freshness were very desirable.
Even though I came to Virginia for employment, the hotel made me want to stay forever. You will not be disappointed. See you next time Aloft. 😢 😭 😊 🌞”

“I mean I hope you set your expectations correctly here. A government owned hotel. I was impressed with the room, had everything I needed, however didn't seem the cleanest overall.
Service was 10/10 at night, morning service was....physically there but not the most helpful at all. Probably 6/10 in the morning just not really engaging with my questions and getting distracted on their phone while I was standing there.”

“I always stay at this hotel when visiting my work. It's generally always a good experience.
I do miss the chef that used to be in the restaurant ? I don't think he's there anymore.
If I had any complaints it was that the ice machine was gone on my floor and I had to go track one down.
Check your receipt to when you park because sometimes their automated system gets screwed up and you may be double charged.”
“Everything went well and we were satisfied with the room and location. The only disappointment was the fact that we were told “no food or drinks in the lobby.” We were here for a wedding and the lobby could have been a wonderful place to enjoy company. To not allow at least drinks is not really acceptable.”

“Honestly, as a tourist we had a great experience with this hotel. We were looking online found a couple places we made the call attendant was friendly and we booked the room in seconds. The room itself was a bit dated but was clean and had two nice beds and AC that worked. I hope anyone looking for a hotel check this spot out. Location was good had lots of stores and restaurants near by.”
