“We stay here prior to cruising. Clean place with a pretty good breakfast spread if you include it in your room price. Workers are generally polite and helpful and we've never had any issues while parked here for long durations.”

“I come here a lot and this is the second time that I’ve came in the winter and their pool was so cold we couldn’t go in it. Also, the majority of their Breakfast food is really nasty. The Orange juice was so disgusting that me and another lady both threw it out. It tasted moldy. I threw up at five times afterwards. They didn’t have any of the other juices and their coffee was so disgusting till it tasted burnt the night before and the next day. They didn’t have any of the pullout couch, bedding, and when we asked the front desk, they only gave us two Regular thin Sheet. We had two trash cans in the room”

“Rachel's Dowry is an exceptional bed and breakfast. The B&B is impeccably clean, perfectly situated near the stadiums and downtown, and in a safe area. The Innkeeper, Linda, is a joy to speak with, as she is a wealth of knowledge on the area, the fascinating history of the home, and the local attractions. The little touches within the space are top notch, as the decorations are beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, and our room was elegant, cozy, and extremely well kept. Rachel's Dowry is quite the find, and a big upgrade from the nearby hotels. We can't wait to return....thanks!!Rooms: Spacious and clean.Nearby activities: Walk to Camden Yards and Ravens Stadium in minutes.Safety: Baltimore can be hit or miss, neighborhood by neighborhood regarding safety, however Rachel's Dowry was in a safe area, which is very well lit and near other attractions.Walkability: It is a 2 minute walk to Camden Yards and another 5 minutes to Ravens Stadium.Food & drinks: Delicious breakfast, and little treats throughout the house during our stay.Noteworthy details: Innkeeper Linda's hospitality was the best we've experienced, and having traveled much of the world, in addition to local Baltimore area, that's quite a compliment.”

Was bright inside lobby, quiet outside hotel, and a safe, family friendly environment. Room was clean with two beds, kitchen, and bathroom. Definitely my new stopping spot when in the area! There is free breakfast in the mornings as well.Safety: Very safe for families!”

“This hotel was the nicest hotel that my family and I have ever stayed in! The room was clean and spacious and looked much more cozy and warmly lit than the official website photos show. Before coming, we read reviews and I was amazed at how often people mentioned staff members by name, but after our stay I can see why. They were all wonderful, polite, and helpful. No matter what we needed, they were happy to help. They brought us towels, hairdryer, etc right away when we asked, found a can opener when we needed one, gave us a toothbrush, and one of the ladies (unfortunately I don't remember her name!) even offered us some of the cookies she baked while we were spending time in the lobby. And while in the lobby, we were impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of all of the staff members as they interacted with guests as well as each other. The manager Donna-Marie sets a wonderful example, and CJ, Miguel, and the others follow. The hotel lobby and the bathrooms there were constantly being cleaned, and there is coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available 24/7. The breakfast is available 6-9 am, and some of the options switched each day. The pool was heated and honestly felt more like a hot tub/bath water. There is also a shower head in the pool room to rinse off the chlorine before heading back to the room which was convenient, and the flooring was a nice stone non-slip surface. And the whole lobby looked lovely as they decorated for Christmas! We absolutely loved our stay here and highly recommend it.”

“Great location the staff work really hard. They are really accommodating even when guest are being rude or unruly. The rooms could be a lil more modern. But they are standard rooms. I hate that they don’t restrict certain rooms off limits for pets. That’s hard.Nearby activities: Live Casino and the Mall are nearbyWalkability: No side walk accessibility but they do have a 2 mile shuttle.Food & drinks: Bar and bartender are amazing! Maria keeps the kitchen alive. I love the salmon or shrimp pasta or salad. I miss their parfaits they used to have. The wings are great and the black and blue burger is good as well. (Plenty of places to eat nearby as well)”

“Food & drinks: No microwave in the rooms, no free breakfast. They expect you to buy all of your meals. This is not a resort location. Should have more amenities for business travelers.”

“Even though they were doing construction during my stay, and they started pretty early in the morning, it wasn't bad. Mr David that hosted the Happy Hour on Tuesday and Wednesday made our stay there a pleasure he was so nice and always asking if we had enough to eat and did we want more. He always greeted us when we came in and he made sure my daughters had a tropical fruit cup to go. I want to personally thank David for making us feel so special and for his caring and kind words.Rooms: Rooms are clean and inviting.Safety: No safety issues didn't feel uncomfortable.Food & drinks: Breakfast was good nice selection. I liked that it was a hot breakfast, and Happy Hours on Tuesday and Wednesday had great appetizers' good selection, too.”

“The only reason it's not 5 stars is because the bathroom mirror was Bluetooth capable but ours didn't work. Otherwise everything was great!I did ask for extra towels before my stay but didn't receive themRooms: Rooms were nice, beds were very comfortableNearby activities: Mall and casino were about a 5min driveSafety: Hotel was very well lit and in a very nice area”

“My go-to hotel! Always great service from the staff, clean rooms, and now they're renovating to get updated rooms. The folks here know me by name every time I come in now, and have been welcoming since day one! Love that they're pet friendly, and the staff here clearly love pets. Great location with easy access to the amenities nearby, as well.Highly recommend this location to anyone needing a place to stay, especially if you have pets needing to travel with you. :)”

“Talk about a secret gem. Close enough to the light rail station so that you never truly feel disconnected from the city, but surrounded by greenery and sloping hills. I felt like I was in some romance film, even though I was completely alone! The rooms are decent sized, but there are no mirrors outside of the bathroom and closet door. Also, the bed was much more firm than I had anticipated. Not the worst thing in the world, just reaffirmed how much I need something soft. Mt. Washington Tavern nearby is a great place to grab something to eat!”

“As an avid traveler for work, what stands out to me in a hotel’s ability to rank higher among its competitors are two factors: 1) competency of the staff and 2) cleanliness of the rooms. Westin BWI hit those two marks. Check-In and Check-Out took maybe two minutes max in both situations, showing the staffs competency and skills in getting people in and out while still communicating clearly each step of the process. Room was also very very clean. Good work, team. Keep up the effort because it shows when you slack and when you work hard. Thanks again! Well done.”

“The location was in a remote area, I was relieved once I finally found the hotel. The receptionist wasn't too kind or helpful helping me find the room or event location that I needed to find. The lobby could use some updating. I personally would never stay at this hotel, but it's close to BWI airport.”

“Service is exceptional. The rooms feel old. Beds feel like you are sleeping on plywood. So firm I felt like I was camping. Chair was so old it creaked and the fabric was worn off.Breakfast great. If they put effort into the guest rooms, this hotel would be perfect.”

“We ended up booking the suite with queen bed and kitchenette for two nights after our airline changed our flight last minute and left us scrambling for another place to stay. Check-in was super easy. You can tell it's an older hotel but the rooms have had some updating and they're nice. The room was really clean and felt surprisingly spacious. The kitchenette is amazing so you can do some cooking and not have to go out and spend more money at restaurants. The bed was pretty comfortable and there was a nice workspace for my fiance. There are limited channels on the TV but it's a decent selection. Overall great stay and we'd definitely come back again.”

“So I had never been to Arundel before, and it's sort of in the middle of nowhere. So you would think this hotel would be a middle of nowhere establishment, but it feels like it could be in Los Angeles or New York City. It's clean, cool, peppy, engaging. I really loved this hotel.”
