“I have used Once Upon A Child Elliott City for quite a while now. I came in Sunday to exchange clothes but was greeted by a rep who ignored me for a while and then looked behind her at the other reps. I’m thinking I was in the wrong line. She finally speaks to me and says they are no longer accepting clothes. I was shocked…because I saw clothes everywhere being sorted. I questioned her about it and mentioned I did not receive an alert on my phone saying this. She was very abrupt. I asked her name and she told me I’m not giving you that. Another co-worker came by and tried to assist. She stated they stop taking in clothes an hour before closing. I looked at my watch and it was 4:50, so I was there prior but they chose not to accept my clothes. I came back Monday and spoke with a very friendly manager that apologized for the treatment I received, took my clothes in and didn’t seem annoyed with me even though there were more items in-front of her than the rep who was rude to me. I love coming here and haven’t had any issues, So I was surprised at the treatment I received initially but I respect the apology and treatment I received when I returned.”
“04/20/2023 approx 8:80 pm ... Took a last minute trip to grab some summer clothing for my son. The store was so organized and clean. You know how towards the end of the day clothes tend to be thrown around? Well yea, this was not the case here. Store was closing in about 30 minutes. But everything was so neat. Even as I was looking for certain sizes I was helped by an employee. Yes I made a bit of a mess looking for sizes and she just went behind after I moved and straightened it up with a genuine smile. Fitting room- this area was also very tidy and smelled clean. Nothing worse then a sweaty smelly dressing room. Cashier was super friendly as well. Thank you Old navy for hiring professional employees.”
“Staff usually are quite friendly here. You can shop in peace here without issue. Store is clean.Issue here is inventory, which is why this store did not receive 5 stars. Store has a large quantity of jackets yet not enough t-shirts, polos or pants. Sale items are rare as well in comparison to other of their retail stores.”

“I "like " this outlet store; however I notice it's usually one(sometimes 2) cashier's at the most and the line is usually very long.The store was clean, somewhat organized not as welcoming but OK for the great prices, I'd visit again.No one greeted us as we walked in as in the past.”
“I took my son yesterday to buy him a winter coat. The staff was amazing. We asked 1 of the workers to help us. She was so friendly, and helpful. She was able to size my son perfectly. Would definitely come back again if need be. Would highly recommend this location.”

“Recently I had a winter coat malfunction. I mean, I just bought this new winter coat two months prior and the zipper on it broke, to the point where I could not keep the jacket zipped and I looked ridiculous. I was about to head on a trip and I was in need of a functioning winter coat before leaving. My faith in department stores have dwindled as they have shrunk in their footprint from their overall commercial footprint to their in store footprint. I wanted and hoped that JCPenney would be helpful in finding a winter jacket. When I walked in, I was upset because, in the midst of winter, they had already started to clear out the winter gear and replacing it with the summer gear. I mean, yeah, I get it, you want to get a head start on the sales, but we were still in the prime winter months and you had a mere handful of winter jackets left over. In sizes there were either too small or too big for me. I was exhausted at this point as I had been to several other businesses that day looking for winter coats. Then, well, then I found one. I took it off the hanger, tried it on, and it fit perfectly, or at least as close to perfect as it could. With my stature, I still looked like that kid from A Christmas Story, but it worked. It was warm, had a removable hood, and most importantly, a workable zipper. Then I saw the price...yikes! I was determined to see if the price tag was correct. I took the jacket with me in search of a price check scanner in the store. Lord, was that a mistake. I searched high and low for a scanner only to discover JCPenney does not have one. See, this wouldn't have been a problem except for the fact that it was on a sale rack and not listed as one of the items actually for sale. After traversing the store and seeing the lines at the registers, I found myself in the jewelry department of all places. Here is where I asked the gentlemen behind the counter if there were any price check scanner and he told me no. He offered to scan it for me and I found out that the price was actually 60% off. I thanked him for doing that and asked if he could ring it up as well. He obliged (and saved me so much time instead of standing at those long lines at the other registers). He even went the extra mile and walked with me toward the mall entrance to ensure I had a bag to cover the coat. Place the coat in it, tied it shut and I was on my way. With a new, workable coat.”
“Large selection of merchandise and the greeting was friendly. This will also be my emergency store to- go- to, since the big department stores are geared to online buying. Hats To Hose, selections are very nice...”
“We shop here alot! Great prices and even better sales and discount coupons. My daughter loves their t-shirts and jeans! I got this cloud outfit from there over the pandemic and it's held up! My daughter got her shirts and tights from there and same for my sons! We have lots of Old Navy and The Gap ❤️❤️❤️”

“I love that they keep lot of items are 100% cotton. Being allergic to so many synthetic fiber I have very little option. More over most of those synthetic fibers have possibly higher carbon footprint. Talking about environmental friendliness. I think it is time for all fabric maker think to be more innovative I hope and believe Eddie Bauer will be pioneer in that.I am very pleased with their customer service. I usually ware same clothes for multiple year and their clothes are durable. If you find threads and stitch threats are coming off. I think you can exchange the item for a new one of same or lower value or even a higher value if you pay the difference. Please keep your membership information updated for those costumer's service.”

“Very friendly staff. I was greeted by several employees. Unfortunately the store is very small and difficult to maneuver a stroller through the few aisle. With Covid19 restrictions, the store capacity should be 10 but I counted around 14 ppl in at once. I wouldn't shop here in the evenings it just seems the store can crowded very fast but in the morning it would be ok.”
