“I have to give a shout out to Mr. Clarence Ross and the entire deli staff at this Safeway. They provided 30 sandwich platters for our middle school's 8th grade graduation picnic, and they did an amazing job! The sandwiches were delicious and a huge hit, and the whole staff could not have been more kind or helpful. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to do a catering order big or small. “Store is very clean, as see other people saying it was very dirty but it isn’t so.
They have a decent amount of selection of everything from fresh produce to everyday items including snacks, linens, camping essentials. Their vegan options are more than other small stores like Aldi.
Some products which are expired or close by are on heavy mark down prices. In my opinion it’s an amazing thing to do as it prevents the products to go bad! I saw noodles for 1cent/pack (closer to expiry) which is like giving it all away for free!
Staff is very polite and helpful. I don’t know about the bargain, so I can’t say anything about it!
Their coffee selection is great, if you’re a coffee lover do check it out!

“I never see this place busy. Sometimes I just run in and out, just to get cigarettes. They should clean it up more. They do have Keno and Horse racing. I did take a look at the place one day. I did notice that they sell very fresh vegetables. I looked into their refrigerator and I never seen cucumbers so ripe and they were perfect in size. They do sell other things, as well. I'd recommend.”
“Guntur Haleem 4.5/5Regular Goat Haleem 5/5 - Enjoyed a delicious goat Haleem with a 85% match to the authentic Hyderabadi version, a first for me in the USA.Natukodi Haleem- first time for me. Very good. We call harees for a chicken haleem. But this natukodi haleem tasted almost like goat haleem .Biryani- I have tried their hyderabadi dum chicken biryani, ambur chicken biryani and goat biryani. The Biryani's were not the typical Hyderabadi dum style, but freshly prepared with strong flavors and a subtle spice. I found it to be a delightful change as we usually prefer spicier dishes. I also hope they offer a variety of boneless and mixed chicken pieces rather than only providing leg pieces.Nikkah Mutton Biryani - so tasty, and I couldn't stop eating it. The goat meat was incredibly tender, and I have no idea where they source it from, but it's exceptional. The flavor and aroma are fantastic.Poori with chicken curry - A flavorful Chicken Curry.Double ka metha - One of the best sweets I have tasted here.Raitha - 10/5 - YES thats true. It tasted so good.”
“We have always shopped at the Giant in Catonsville for the last 25 years, not anymore since we experienced the pleasure of shopping at Giant at Ellicott City. The people who work in the store in EC are so friendly, helpful and don't act like you are bothering them when you ask for help. The people in EC are more than willing to go the extra mile. I don't mind driving an extra 10 minutes out of my way if I don't have to deal with mean customer service people, I mean what's the point! Thank you EC Giant for making our experience the best. “Great selection of specialty foods from, no surprise, around the Caspian. My Eastern European family can find the uncommon imported foods and ingredients we need. I bought pickled cabbages, sour cherries, two of five (!) types of eggplant spreads, some spicy pickled veggies. Good stuff.”
“It's a Walmart guys...so don't expect an overly fancy experience. But that being said, it's one of the few Walmart's that seems to carry organic produce so it's our choice grocery store for the area”

“I have been using this pharmacy for 20 years. The people behind the counter are so helpful. They have come out onto the floor to assist me in finding products that do not require prescriptions.
They have an automated system to renew your meds if you choose. They will complete your order while you shop.
They will send you text when your meds are ready.
if a medication is up for renewal they will contact your doctor if you give them permission.
They can give you covid, flu, and shingle shots right there so no office visit no office visit bill.”

“I was pleasantly surprised with my trip to Walmart today. Every grocery store is out of meat, I guess people are nervous about another shutdown. But this location's meat section was basically fully stocked. They even had meats that regular grocery stores do not carry. Lamb, bison, swordfish anything you can think of, they had it. This location was busy, which is expected for this time of the year. Carts were few and far in between and I know that the capacity is well over 25%, but I guess you really can't control that time of thing during this time of year. I am not even sure if big box stores are required to follow the capacity rules. I just say, this is by far my favorite Walmart and now that I see their meat selection is pretty expansive, I will be coming here more often! Mask up and be safe!”

“Dear High’s Leadership,
I wanted to take a moment to recognize the kind and thoughtful team at your Ellicott City location. Barb, Bishop, and Angel are among the kindest, most service-oriented individuals I have come across in a long time.
My 80 year old dad is a regular customer at High’s — he stops in every single morning and always gets the same things. A few times, the Washington Post was sold out before he arrived. When Barb heard that, she began setting one aside for him each morning to make sure he never missed his paper. Angel, when she sees him coming, often has his “regular” items ready in a bag at the register — unless she’s busy helping another customer. And Bishop always keeps things running smoothly and ensures that same level of care continues when he’s at the counter.
This level of attentiveness, consistency, and genuine kindness is rare these days. It means so much to me and my family to see how well they treat my dad — not just as a customer, but as a person.
I hope High’s leadership recognizes this exceptional team and ensures they are taken care of, because their dedication truly embodies what great service is all about.
