“I go here all the time and its my go to, but recently got a half cow here for an amazing price with amazing quality on all the steak, the fat is yellow and you can tell it's grass fed and a well-treated healthy animal.

But I called one day in advance, they had the cow ready by the next day and the process was super quick, easy and affordable, and the owner plus all the employees there are great people, very respectful and helpful.

No more trips to the grocery store for a couple months thanks to them, and the quality is 100x better than grocery store meat, you can feel a genuine difference in the energy and focus it gives you, I give them an 11/10 and recommend to anyone.”

I want to take a moment to recognize two amazing employees at Harris Teeter in Columbia, Maryland, at the Kings Contrivance Shopping Center — Cheyenne and Tijuana. My family and I had such a wonderful experience shopping here today, and these two young women truly made our visit special.

First, I want to give a huge shout-out to Cheyenne, a sales representative inside the store. I was looking for a strainer because I’m making homemade coffee bean ice cream, and I also needed help finding coffee. Cheyenne took the time to walk around with me, help me find exactly what I needed, and never once made me feel rushed or like I was bothering her.

She was patient, kind, genuine, caring, and so easy to communicate with. Her willingness to help went far beyond what I expected. She genuinely seemed to care about making sure I had a great shopping experience, and that meant so much to me.

And I absolutely have to give another BIG shout-out to Tijuana, the cashier who checked me out! She was truly a breath of fresh air. She had such a sweet personality, was incredibly pleasant, kind, welcoming, and provided amazing customer service. Sometimes a simple interaction at the register can make or break your experience, and Tijuana made ours even better.

Between Cheyenne helping me find everything I needed and Tijuana sending us off with such a warm and pleasant interaction, my entire family left Harris Teeter feeling genuinely appreciated as customers.

I honestly don’t believe I’ve ever experienced this level of wonderful customer service at this location before. These young women deserve to be recognized because they are representing Harris Teeter in such a positive way.

Their meal kits are awesome. Everything you need to make quick, delicious, plentiful, nutritious vegetarian and meat entrees. Very inexpensive for what you get!

Two days after I left my initial review I shopped again and witnessed how the store the store had undergone such an an incredible transformation that it seemed like a completely new bright shinny store! “Excellent. Patrick, Beverly and Eric are an awesome team. (Sorry if I forget anyone else.) They are amazing. They are friendly and efficient, they go out of the way to make contact with your Dr. when your refills are out. I go to this pharmacy because of them, not just because it is convenient. Even thoughout the pandemic they made sure there was adequate coverage of staff.They have some very irate and rude customers, but nevertheless they look past the customers attitude, to try and accommodate their needs. Even though getting any pre-authorization for meds has been a real pain, (because alot of insurance places, even Medicaid y. don't have their usual staff, this slows things down tremendouslBut they do whatever they can to work round that. When my child was sick they worked quickly to fill her Rx for an antibiotic. Thankyou guys,,,. As Tupac wisely said "You are appreciated"?”

“I have been in this branch a couple of times. I have had great shopping experience, I’ve got the stuff I needed. There’s great dinning areas too, neat table in there. There’s also plenty of parking with options to go for a walk on the back side round the lake. Overall the area around is attractive and this whole foods worth 5 star⭐”

“I've lived in this neighborhood for almost a decade, and Sam's has consistently been my go-to for a quick stop on the way to work or on the way home. These guys are awesome- there's a blizzard and everything else is closed? No worries, these guys will have their lot plowed, their sidewalk shoveled, and fresh coffee on. They're in a perfect location, just a short stroll from any of the apartment or townhouse complexes, and not only do they know their regulars, they're compassionate and trusting enough that when I forgot my wallet the other day, they insisted that I go ahead and take my purchases and just stop back in whenever I had a chance to settle up. There are occasionally teenagers hanging out outside, but not nearly as many or as often as a few years ago, and I've never had an issue with them or been bothered by them in any way, and the store has a policy for how many students can be in the store at a time, so often I think they're just waiting for friends who are shopping. The prices are consistent with other convenience stores, so while you can definitely get things cheaper other places, you're not paying any more here than you would at 7-11 or Royal Farms, and they have a way more interesting selection. You might not find every single flavor of potato chips ever created, but you might stumble across lime flavored wafer cookies and decide they're your new favorite snack.”

I was okay with the wait as they were upfront and honest with me. Whoever manages them could do a better job to ensure they have enough labor for the availability they offer or cut back on how many customers they say can be served at once. “Very good price for everything and parking is very easy. The store is very close isles and so it is difficult for you to shop if the place is busy. I wanted a little lunch food but nobody seemed to care. Nobody offered to take the order. I asked about this in the front and they said they take the order at the back and you pay at the front

Maybe next time I can try the food.”

REVIEW UPDATE!!!!!!!!
Wow, not sure what transpired at the Walmart on Dobbin Rd, but I wrote a not-so-favorable review of this Walmart a few months ago, but after visiting this location, I am genuinely impressed by the improvements. The store is noticeably cleaner, better organized, and far less cluttered than before. Even more importantly, the staff were engaging, helpful, and truly hospitable which really stood out.

Again, I’m not sure if there have been changes in management or operations, but whatever adjustments were made are very noticeable and very much appreciated. It’s refreshing to see a location listen to feedback and make real, positive changes.

Keep up the GREAT WORK!

Returning to my home town after 23 years was quite a shocker. Neighborhoods are run down, lawn care and home maintenance are almost nonexistent is some areas.

To top things off the Walmart off of Dobbin Rd, has to be the filthiest Walmart I’ve ever seen!!!!

Do better Columbia, what happen, this use to be a very nice place to live and raise a family!”

“I have avoided this pharmacy for literal years after a long string of bad experiences. I would send my mother instead of going myself to avoid the entire thing. BUT TODAY I had to go in for an important RX myself and Robin M was absolutely amazing. She greeted me with a friendly smile, and I saw the grace with which she treated the customer before me. She was so kind, efficient, and her genuine customer service was like sunshine. She made me smile on a hard day. Thank you Robin M you have changed my mind, I am grateful they found you.”

“I want to give a shoutout to Crystal Reaves, the optician at this location. I brought in an old pair of sunglasses that needed the screws tightened and the frames adjusted for a better fit. I’m a senior citizen and recently broke my wrist, so I just didn’t have the dexterity to do it myself — only my non-dominant hand was working.

Crystal greeted me with a warm smile and asked if I needed help. When I explained my situation, she didn’t hesitate at all — she jumped right in and got the frames fitting perfectly. I really appreciated her kindness.

Next time I need an eye exam or want some new fashionable frames, I’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Crystal, for the excellent service!”
