“Best and beautiful gem of a place! I find such amazing things here for cooking and health. It's so magical and it's such a happy place. Wonderful items inside. Once you go in you will come back!!”

“I was traveling for work and was looking for some JustCBD products (accidentally left mine at home) this place literally carried everything I typically purchase. The prices were seriously incredible, about half of what I normally pay. I wish I had one of these markets near me. Not only that I was immediately greeted by the owner, who is just a very pleasant human being. Extremely helpful, very very nice and just seemed happy that I was there, we definitely need more people like him in this world. So glad I found this place.”

“I really like the prepared food selections. Wegman's was a reliable source of groceries and staples during the pandemic. Food always good and fresh. At this point, I'm a little disappointed in with Wegman's. I used to grab a salad there 3-4X l/Week. A short drive over, park enter near the prepared foods entrance, walk up order a salad by picking my greens, then toppings, protein and dressing, pay and either eat their or leave. Now you cannot order in person. Even if you're standing right in front of the person making salads, they will not make your salad anymore. Even while in the store, everything they need right at their fingertips. They insist you use an app, I don't have on my phone, no salads for me. I don't want to order my salad on an app. Part of the experience is ordering in person. What made Wegman's think this impersonal approach was a good idea? Very disappointing.”

“Giant Food Market's 'Scan-As-You-Go' feature has revolutionized my shopping routine. The ability to scan items while browsing makes for a faster checkout, and it's become a significant draw for me. While Giant isn't my top choice for groceries, it's a close second due to this innovative feature. The store's variety is impressive, and navigating through aisles feels straightforward. However, occasional hiccups in the scanning process can be a bit frustrating. Despite this, Giant's convenience and decent selection consistently bring me back for a stress-free shopping experience.”

“We usually shop here for organic foods, especially for meat, fish, and green products. It has a big free parking lot with a few charging stations. It’s right in front of a park-lake, so can walk around right after shopping. Overall, it is pricy, but worth the quality and the location.”

“I've been shopping at this store for a few years now. Lately, I've started using their online store pickup service. I absolutely love it! The attendants are so nice, friendly, funny, and careful about providing good service. The only reason I'm not selecting 5 stars is not their fault at all. It is the because of the Karens who decide it's their own personal special parking spot, leave their car, and do their grocery shopping. It leaves those of us who are actually supposed to be there having to park at the very back, parallel park in between them, or squeeze in front of their parked car. Which of course makes the Karens upset that they are delayed getting out by a clogged pickup lane.It won't stop me from using the online pick up though. The attendants and their excellent service is worth the hassle.”

“Place is usually stocked. Associates that I have come in contact with are friendly and helpful. Prices are kind of expensive compared to other grocery stores but I go because it is convenient.”

“This location has a better produce section than your average Giants in the area. They have a lot of holiday stuff currently on clearance. The Floral department has seen some serious improvement over the last few months.”

“A different pharmacy did not have a prescription in stock and could not be bothered to take the effort to move my prescription to another store. The people at Guilford Road readily undertook the effort to make it all well. Why can one branch be so helpful and outgoing while the other be so dismissive and uncaring?”

“Good customer service and even at their busiest they keep the lines manageable. Even the parking garage flows well for a big grocery store. They design these store brilliantly.”

“We shop here sometimes. Parking lot usually gets filled up at the closest spots but you can always find a place. Some staff are very nice and helpful, a few are not really. Placement of goods are just as expected. You can also use the app to navigate through where the things are. Overall, it’s a Walmart good.”

“Malachi is the best!!The store, in general is just okay. But yesterday I placed an order for delivery and realized I’d forgotten to change my address since I’d moved since my last delivery. Malachi (unsure of the correct spelling) helped me out so much, taking my calls and calling me as he was gradually able to fix it and I got my order without having to track it down and with no delay. Exemplary customer service!! Many thanks ?”

“I've lived in this neighborhood for almost a decade, and Sam's has consistently been my go-to for a quick stop on the way to work or on the way home. These guys are awesome- there's a blizzard and everything else is closed? No worries, these guys will have their lot plowed, their sidewalk shoveled, and fresh coffee on. They're in a perfect location, just a short stroll from any of the apartment or townhouse complexes, and not only do they know their regulars, they're compassionate and trusting enough that when I forgot my wallet the other day, they insisted that I go ahead and take my purchases and just stop back in whenever I had a chance to settle up. There are occasionally teenagers hanging out outside, but not nearly as many or as often as a few years ago, and I've never had an issue with them or been bothered by them in any way, and the store has a policy for how many students can be in the store at a time, so often I think they're just waiting for friends who are shopping. The prices are consistent with other convenience stores, so while you can definitely get things cheaper other places, you're not paying any more here than you would at 7-11 or Royal Farms, and they have a way more interesting selection. You might not find every single flavor of potato chips ever created, but you might stumble across lime flavored wafer cookies and decide they're your new favorite snack.”

“Excellent. Patrick, Beverly and Eric are an awesome team. (Sorry if I forget anyone else.) They are amazing. They are friendly and efficient, they go out of the way to make contact with your Dr. when your refills are out. I go to this pharmacy because of them, not just because it is convenient. Even thoughout the pandemic they made sure there was adequate coverage of staff. They have some very irate and rude customers, but nevertheless they look past the customers attitude, to try and accommodate their needs. Even though getting any pre-authorization for meds has been a real pain, (because alot of insurance places, even Medicaid y. don't have their usual staff, this slows things down tremendouslBut they do whatever they can to work round that. When my child was sick they worked quickly to fill her Rx for an antibiotic. Thankyou guys,,,. As Tupac wisely said "You are appreciated"?”

“Clean and well stocked, but I think the prices are a bit higher than Pasadena. Since Covid, we almost always order ahead and pick-up in store. My wife had our order brought out to her car last week and was really impressed with the service.”

“New tires at a great price and tire rotations for the life of the tires, what a great deal!I haven't had a bad experience personally when scheduling appointments, I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews.”

“I've had the BJ's and Costco (even when Costco was called Price Club) since the early 90's. Why do I keep both? Well, BJ's offer things that Costco doesn't. Is it enough for me to keep both? Not really. But having both for over 30 years is a tough habit to break. BJ's have always been kind of the ugly stepsister in this relationship. I am not sure why that is but the store always seem a little less... a little less clean, a little less quality, a little less service (management), a little less of pretty much everything. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot to like there as well. They have quirky items that you won't find at Costco and at great prices. They have their own coupons and then you can also add manufacture's coupon on time of it (I don't know if they still do that since I have not done that in decades). They also have great grinder rolls. Having eaten Amoroso bread in Philadelphia during my college years, I know a good hoagie roll. Nothing and I mean nothing in MD compares but the BJ's grinder rolls are an acceptable replacement. They also have a deli counter which Costco doesn't have and it comes in handy once in awhile. And their meat used to be a lot cheaper and they cut to order many things like the Beef short ribs cut Korean galbi style. I used to get 50 lbs of it at a time there. Just called the meat department and told them how I want it cut and how much and when I arrive, they have it ready. Now the service, I go there enough times to interact with a lot of workers there. Most of them are great and helpful. But every time I had to talk to the manager about a price discrepancy or something, he would always have an attitude or a snarky comment. One time I purchased an item and a week later, it was $10 less. Of course I didn't have the receipt since I wasn't thinking of returning it. So I asked the manager if I can get the difference. He told me I needed the receipt. I asked if they can look up the purchase on their system like Costco does and give the refund. His reply pissed me off when he said "This isn't Costco" and something to the effect of I doubt they do that there. No shit Sherlock! I shopped at both places for over 30 years! I know each store intimately! You can say you are not Costco without being an AHole. That was the final straw... almost. In all my years, I've only interacted with the BJ's manager perhaps 3 times. 2 of 3 were not good. I decided I wasn't going to renew the membership after last year but they went ahead and did something. They implemented a self checkout on their app which is incredibly cool and a time saver. I used it once and it worked great. The person at the exit rescans everything to make sure it was paid as you exit but it is still a great time saver. Now this may cause a delay in exiting if it was busy but when I did it, it was not a problem. So I will see how this year goes.BTW, when I say Costco's service with manager is better, this is what I mean. I once purchased an item only for it to go on sale a week or two later, As always, Costco is packed. There is a massive line to go out the store. So as I was waiting, I saw one of the managers and I asked him about the price difference in my previous purchase and if I needed to comeback for the difference. I can't remember which location this Costco was but he had a small workstation nearby away from the usual customer service counters and he just asked for my card, looked up the item and gave me my refund right there and there. Needless to say, I was impressed.”

“Every time I shop at Giant when I go to the seafood counter, Marcus always greeted me with such warmth and great customer service. I have since moved out of Columbia. But I wish him the best and I hope he will get far at Giant Foods......May”

“Ran in for paper goods only. No food items. This location is always so very busy. It reminded you of Christmas in January. Pack your patience when coming here. Also be careful not to drive thru the front, near the door. After turning in, go left and find parking from the back end. Quite a few ppl dart out from the door into the lanes... so be careful. Ambiance? It's Walmart”
