“Excellent customer service! We were in need of ballet shoes and tights for an MSA performance. I called ahead and the staff person was cordial and confirmed size availability. We arrived right before closing but were greeted respectfully and kindly. Our items were already waiting for us at the register but Meagan recommended that we confirm sizing. She was super kind and patient. She ensured that we had the right items and that my child was comfortable with the shoes. We walked out of the store and my children remarked on such a great customer experience. I will be sure to patron this business and recommend them to others.”

“I was invited to my colleague's baby shower. I didn't know what to get. Staff were so kind and nice, they did a phenomenal job with gift wrapping (they got all kinds of wraps, ribbons, even cards). I always thought this place was some kid bookstore, gym, thanks to Google, I now know that this place sells dolls, toys, baby bibs, shoes etc. Really local, really nice, makes me want to go back to being a kid.”

“The carhartt at national harbor is for sure one of the best ones I have been to, you walk in the store and you feel welcomed by the amazing staff who actually seems like they want to help you. The customer service is amazing! I went in and I was attended by one of the workers named Sofia she was very nice and attentive and helped me what I was looking for. I recommend everyone to step into the store if you are at national harbor.”

“Did you know that if you sign up for their text messages you will get coupons? Weekly? What!!!! I shop at Polo for my children as we love the quality of material. Always very helpful staff, I love how mark downs are weekly and you can always put things on hold and run around the outlets to triple check things and then come back and get your items.”

“Pam's new storefront in Bethesda is the cutest! Stopped by yesterday for the grand opening and was not disappointed - she has a great collection of children's clothing (even for those with skin allergies), accessories, books, and games for all ages! I loved how there was also a table in the middle of the store with some toys to keep your little ones occupied while you shop. Definitely come check it out!”

“This year, due to obvious circumstances, my husband and I wanted to shop exclusively at local businesses for Christmas. This wasn't super difficult except when it came to all the kids in our lives. We didn't know if a local kids store, and we stumbled on this place. I was blown away with the adorable stuff in here. Yes, it's small, but that did not mean inventory was low. I LOVED finding unique gifts that I know my nieces and nephews won't get from other people shopping at big box stores. And with a newborn myself, I was thrilled to find that they carry Magnetic Me onesies (which we love). I am happy to support this small business and don't feel like I'm doing any favors in doing so because I feel lucky for the finds!”

With limited street parking, opting for area garages is almost imperative to avoid those pesky tickets ?. “This is a great place to get high quality, gently used kids' clothing! This place has been around a long time, although they did move from one unit in the shopping center to a new one in the past fife years or so. They do a great job of being selective about what they carry and pricing it appropriately. They have tons of my favorites including Hanna Anderson, Gap, Crew Cuts, Patagonia, and more. They have lots of great kids shoes as well--things that would normally be pricier, like Keen, Sperry, etc. I have not consigned with them although I probably should. One thing I really love is that they promote their items on Instagram (handle 529hollinhall) and you can even reserve and pay for items there. They are very active on there AP you can find what you want without having to do much browsing.”

“Convenient location for me. The store is large with a kids, women and men’s section. Friendly customer service but when it’s busy it’s hard to find anyone that works there, which is understandable. I think they change out clothes every week and the best time to shop is when they open during the week. I think they have a nice selection of clothes. I always saw the store in disarray on the weekends so when I get the chance to shop during the week it’s a breathe of fresh air.”

Ba'sheba is pretty good too, (JCPenny Salon btw)she does my sister hair (it's cut short) My sister hair always looks good when she comes back. Try Ba'sheba...if u rock a short cut, I've never been to her but my sister hair still looks good even when just a treatment and wash/conditioner and curl...? I may try her in Spring 2024 God-willing.”
