“I feel like everything has been said about this place in other reviews. I’m just gonna say that I have the most messed up feet of anyone I know and I buy my shoes here.

They always know what they’re talking about. If they don’t think something will work they will say so. Just amazing people. I’m pretty sure that it’s a bunch of really experienced backpackers who all just work a couple of days a month each so that they can get the discount

Because otherwise it’s just an impossible amount of knowledge that these people have shared with me over the years.

Today I took my daughter in there cause she is working on a nature preserve out in the coldest part of West Virginia. The guy not only knew exactly what she needed in terms of protection from cold, because where she is is often the coldest spot in continental United States. But he also knew exactly which restaurants she should go to.

And he made a recommendation for an amazing climbing experience, not too far away from her

I gotta say the only downside was that the store dog doesn’t work on Sundays. So we didn’t get to see the boss. Other than that just such a wonderful experience as per usual.

Update- I called today and spoke to Kaden (spelling?). Anyway, I have one word to describe him: mensch. Thanks man, you helped me out more than you can know.”

“Came in on Friday 5/17 because I was in desperate need of new walking/gym shoes. I explained my leg injury and hip issues to the lady who helped me (I can't remember the name, I'm so sorry!). She brought out 3 different pairs and explained the benefits for each very thoroughly. I ended up with a pair of peach Hokas!Then Sunday, 5/17, I spent the day out in DC for my dog's race (she also came to the store with me, and the staff were so kind to allow me in with her - very much appreciated). I wore the Hoka's properly for the first time that day. They worked exactly as I needed! After miles of walking, no hip pain FINALLY!I'm so excited to get my activity level back up to where I used to be, and these shoes will help!I'm planning to be back in soon to get some trail shoes for hikes!Thank you so much!!”

“Had an amazing experience! It was my first time shopping at American Eagle and they made it worth it! I accidentally stumbled upon some shirts with the wrong sign saying 60% off but they honored it for me! The employee working was so kind, considerate and professional. I didn’t catch their names but they had a sick humming bird tattoo!”

“Who goes ice skating these days? Lots of young children, pre-teens, teenagers and sometimes, parents with young children. So.... what an adventure to drop in here way far away near the Walkersville area of Frederick. The rink itself looks like it could be from any era in the last 50 years, but really, what do you want from an ice skating rink? Parking is easy. Finding the location is easy. Going to the register and paying for your pass and rental (if you don't have your own skates) is easy. The cost is incredibly low - I feel like they were cheaper than when I was in high school back in the day in a land far far away from this place. Anyhow, getting your skates, also incredible easy. They have lockers for your stuff that cost you, wait for it, 2 quarters! So cute! They have a few vending machines, mostly ice cream, and a snack bar where you can get some cheap food and beverages. It is not expensive by any measure. They have teams and others who train and play here, but they have open skates. The open skates are usually on the weekends. And, again, wow, I could not believe how cheap. We had a great time skating, but since we're not 12 year old children, our bodies were a little less flexible and a lot more sensitive, so we didn't even last the whole 1.5 hour session. Ha ha! We still had a fabulous time, and will probably go back winter holidays 2024 for a new tradition. In other words - highly recommended for a cheap, short adventure!”

“I’m glad I’m giving this location a 5 star because they deserve it. First time I came to visit this location was on Saturday. The experience I was left the first time made me come back again ! First I would like to shout out the store associate David. I can’t remember the assistant manager name but he was also awesome. David was very helpful with what I was looking for and willing to spent. It not easy going shopping with my autistic son but he made me feel very welcome. I was looking for shoes within budget and comfortable for my son. David was very knowledgeable on the shoes I was looking at and I’m glad he did because I sure don’t lol. David helped me start to finish and got me signed up to earn points. Second time I came I was hoping I see David to help me again and sure enough he was there ! Made me comfortable to come in to shop for shoes with my son. I was able to get my son another pair of shoes. I’m personally not a sneaker head but David convinced me to treat myself to two pair of shoes. It was actually was nice as a mom to treat myself a little bit too. David you was great and the assistant manager was also. I will be shopping here more often now because of the amazing experience”
