“Great service! Thank you. Tonight after filling the tank with gas, I went inside to buy a half gallon of delicious High’s egg nog. Seeing no half gallons in the fridge, I bought two smaller bottles. The cashier told me a half gallon would be cheaper and went behind the displays to bring one to me. He came through and even wiped off all the sticky stuff on the bottle before placing it on the counter in front of me. What a considerate individual, a real caring soul. Wish I had asked for his name…”

“I go here all the time and its my go to, but recently got a half cow here for an amazing price with amazing quality on all the steak, the fat is yellow and you can tell it's grass fed and a well-treated healthy animal.
But I called one day in advance, they had the cow ready by the next day and the process was super quick, easy and affordable, and the owner plus all the employees there are great people, very respectful and helpful.
No more trips to the grocery store for a couple months thanks to them, and the quality is 100x better than grocery store meat, you can feel a genuine difference in the energy and focus it gives you, I give them an 11/10 and recommend to anyone.”

“One of my favorite places to go. Has the best candy section and nutrients isle. The prepared fruits section could be better and the prepared ready cut veggies are ok. But that is becoming a common issue for most stores. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Parking lot is a little tight but ok.”

I live approximately 1 hour away but make the trip a couple of times a month to shop here. Why do I drive so far? Because the customer service, selection and sales are top tier! I will share just some of my experiences shopping at Roots Market.
I am a healthcare professional who worked through the pandemic. At a time when we didn’t know much about the virus, I decided that it was best if I did not enter the store for the staff’s and customer’s safety. I would arrive after a long shift with scrubs on. I stood outside of the door with a list. The team members would collect my list and gladly shopped for my items bringing them outside to me. Additionally, every item that I have ever requested has been brought in without hesitation. I have been a plant based traveler for over 3 decades and often have opportunities to try a variety of new products. I have requested everything from Rebel and Dare plant based cheese to Abbots plant based proteins. Within weeks they were all there!
I regularly place orders for cases of unique items like soy free tofu and coconut cherry yogurt . They are happily fulfilled! I always receive a call within days informing me of products arrival.
I have done a comparison at other local stores and can honestly say Roots market has the area’s largest selection of plant based goods. Whether you are making a charcuterie board or a lasagna they have you covered.
Additionally, their sales and every day value products are amongst the best of any locally owned grocery store.”

“My first visit to this location it was pretty busy on a Saturday and afternoon parking was tight. The hot foods dining area was pretty small. They seem to offer like eight different types of soup. They had some premade dishes and dishes available. I picked up a couple onigiri, marinated eggs, seaweed salad, and some pickled ginger.
Tons of options of miso and kimchi, noodles, dumplings, ramen, galore. I picked up a few kinds of kelp, some wakeme and some kombu.
All of the fresh fruits and vegetables were really impressive. They had tons of different types of mushrooms and it was pretty cool to see some variety packs available.
Lots of fresh durian, even small already cut and prepped.
The meat and seafood areas were impressive as well.”
“I’m usually in and out but they regularly have what I need. Never had an issue with employees here! One tip would be getting a self check out or hire more clerks to make the experience smoother. The latter would be the better move so folks keep jobs.”

“I used to love this place, but the prices are through the roof. Still, some items are cheaper than buying on Amazon. It still provides dairy products that are NOT offered anywhere else, and is a cut above other health food stores. But too many times the items I go there to get are sold out. We rely on it for dairy. Has lots of pasture raised products. Two bags of groceries can easily run $200.”
