“I live in Barnesville, MD district and use the Barnesville Post Office for all of my mailing and stamp purchases and also have a Post Office Box there to receive my mail. This small community post office is wonderful. The postmistress is always courteous, responsible and reliable. She opens on time every day and keeps the post office neat and tidy. She always goes out of her way to help, even carrying packages to your car. We are very fortunate to have Honey Hynes as our postmistriss.”

“Applied for a passport, and had an appointment around lunchtime when the facility wasn't very busy. The USPS employees were pleasant to deal with. Had to leave a positive review to balance out some of the negative ones. I think that sometimes negative reviews can paint a skewed overall impression of the usual experience, as people tend to not leave reviews unless something unusual happened (and "unusual" when it comes to post office stuff almost always means "bad".)”

“Might I suggest having a separate area for people to browse stamps vs. At the counter it holds the line up for someone to essentially continue shopping while there are others ready to check out.Additionally, having markers available to write with instead of just ball point pens. A lot of packing material does not allow for markings with ball point pens nor does tape. Feel like it would be common sense to have markers available but apparently not.”

However, Michael happily helped us out without having an appointment! Michael was accommodating. “The folks who work at this facility have bent over backwards to help me when I needed it. I have a P.o. box there and if they don’t see me regularly, they check to see if everything is okay. There have been times where they have had to explain something a second time and they have done it with a smile. I get a hello and a smile every time I go in there.”
