“We’ve loved Boarman’s for years. It is THE place to get fresh eggs, fresh meats, custom cuts, delicious pre-mades, special orders, and all kinds cool stuff you can’t find elsewhere. The staff is ALWAYS helpful and gracious. I’m especially grateful for them recently as my son has become obsessed with grinding his own meat. Every week he asks for custom cuts off the bone and every week they do this extra work uncomplainingly. Boarman’s is the best. 10 stars.”

“Gourmet, organic, unusual and delicious food. Beer and wine, too. This is a gem in our neighborhood. Pro tip: try cultured, salted butter, but beware, you may never want normal butter again. The hot food bar and salad bar are great but the cold sandwiches and premade salads are amazing, too. Lunch, groceries, fine cheese for a party, a quick hot meal, excellent breads, are all at Roots. Also all the expected grocery items and health products. Yes I am a big fan.”

“Ugh! I don’t typically post bad reviews but when shopping this location please make sure all your items are in your bag. I regularly go to this location because it’s the closest. I went for soup and I purchased a few other items. I travel to get this location at least 20 mins and to get home and realize the one thing I went to get was not in my bag is not good. I called and the manager was less than empathetic given I drove such a long way only to told that they would refund the cost of the soup. For such an oversight I should be compensated for the time and effort.
So buyer beware check and make sure your items are in the bag. These cashiers are distracted by their phones. It’s so disappointing!
I have amended this review because the store manager called and offered to bring me the soup? now that is customer service…again it’s my market of choice !”

“If you like bargain shopping this is the store for you. I can't always find everything I need for my groceries so it's not a one stop shop, however, the prices here are fantastic. I love going to this store and it saves me a lot of money. The store is also well organized and the staff are friendly. Can't beat everything they have to offer.”

“The store is laid out differently than most around here, with paper and plastic products, laundry soap & fabric softener, and sundries in the middle of the store - nothing wrong with it; just takes a little getting used to. The staff were the best - courteous, cheerful, and very helpful.”

“Mostly good service but they have a few things about their processes that they need to improve. For example, when a prescription is called in for a later date there’s no gollow up system to have it flagged for it to be filled. Instead it it ends up on your customer profile so if you don’t call to ask about your prescription, you’ll never get it. Worse, they show no interest in fixing it. There’s not the only issue. They often don’t have medications in stock so you have to wait at least a day to get your prescription filled.”

“WEIS - one of my favourites grocery stores. They have everything. WEIS is undoubtedly a 'one stop shop'. Ptoducts are well displayed in an attractive manner. This is a very clean and tidy store. Fresh bread and bakery products are my favourites. Employees in the store are very kind and always helpful. Wonderful staff. When I encounter a small problem while checking out, Manager was prompt to come forward and help me. I love this wonderful grocery store and invite all others to visit.”

“I love the Whole Foods concept and visit the stores in every city I travel too. The Columbia Whole Foods on Little Patuxent Highway is well appointed, bright, and the view of the lake in the cafe which has indoor and outdoor seating is gorgeous.”

“Still my favorite supermarket. Some prices are high, but I find good bargains, excellent sushi, great Monday pizza deal (I buy a pie and freeze the slices), fresh produce and exceptional sushi that you can grab and go. Also check out the $5 shrimp deal.
Staff is very helpful, I always feel welcome shopping there.”

“Excellent. Patrick, Beverly and Eric are an awesome team. (Sorry if I forget anyone else.) They are amazing. They are friendly and efficient, they go out of the way to make contact with your Dr. when your refills are out. I go to this pharmacy because of them, not just because it is convenient. Even thoughout the pandemic they made sure there was adequate coverage of staff.They have some very irate and rude customers, but nevertheless they look past the customers attitude, to try and accommodate their needs. Even though getting any pre-authorization for meds has been a real pain, (because alot of insurance places, even Medicaid y. don't have their usual staff, this slows things down tremendouslBut they do whatever they can to work round that. When my child was sick they worked quickly to fill her Rx for an antibiotic. Thankyou guys,,,. As Tupac wisely said "You are appreciated"?”
