“Finally Found a Mechanic I Trust With My BMW
After weeks of trying to figure out what was wrong with my BMW, I finally took it to Burhans Auto Service & Tires for a complete diagnostic. My car had been going into limp mode, and I needed someone who could actually diagnose the problem instead of guessing and replacing parts.
Unfortunately, the news wasn’t great. After thoroughly checking the vehicle and ruling out other possible causes, the mechanic determined that my BMW needed a throttle body replacement. Anyone who owns a BMW knows repairs and parts can get expensive quickly, but he explained exactly what he found and gave me the best route to getting the car fixed as quickly and reasonably as possible.
One thing that really stood out was the level of customer service. He even asked whether this was my only vehicle. That small question gave me the impression that he genuinely cared about how being without my car was affecting me and would do whatever he could to help.
Communication throughout the process was excellent. He assured me that he checked every possible reason for why my BMW was going into limp mode before determining that the throttle body was the problem. The part itself was expensive, but I felt the labor cost was very fair, especially for a BMW repair.
A few days later, I brought the car back because one of my tires was losing air after I had been sold a bad used tire somewhere else. He found the leak, showed me exactly what was causing it, pulled out the object that had punctured the tire, and plugged it for me at no charge.
That sealed it for me.
