“Restore is more than a thrift shop- it is a community that offers inclusion and some fellowship! My son has a disability and has been volunteering there for years. Ashley, the volunteer coordinator, gives the disabled community a safe place to work and practice job skills. John and Adam have been nothing but kind to my son, treating him kindly. People can learn a thing or two from the three of them about acceptance and kindness. Thank you, Restore!”
“Hodges Hardware is truly a one-of-a-kind amazing place. I was on the hunt for some older hinges for a garden fence and while most big box stores had a few poorly machined and expensive options, Hodges has basically a whole row of hinges of every type, size, shape and make. The warehouse seems packed floor to ceiling with anything you think of. Need an odd piece of hardware? Hodges. Giant old cable spools? Hodges. An antique poker machine? Hodges. A ship-in-a-bottle? HODGES! If you like a perfectly organized, well-lit hardware store, this stop is not for you. But if you like hunting for treasure, maybe stop by.

“A few years ago, I bought and loaded a bunch of lumber in my truck in the loading area. I tried to leave, but my starter died and truck would not start. One of the Lowes employees came out and took a hammer and socket extension, and tapped the starter and the truck started! I made it home. I wish I could remember his name.”
