“It is an absolute pleasure to do business at the Ruxton pharmacy on Bologna Avenue in Ruxton, Maryland! Number one they are friendly and they answer their phones. I have dealt with other pharmacies for years and became so frustrated when I couldn’t reach anyone on the phone over and over again or stood in long wait lines or was told that they didn’t have the proper information after I stay on hold for a long time. “This is my favorite market. I go to you all the time and my grandma is a member so we get a discount. They always have fresh fruit fresh food always in and out they even have their own self check out. You can’t beat it. I go in there regularly to get what I need and it’s never too crowded, but it is busy and we do have staff in the regular checkout lines not too many but they are like a good four or five and the lines are not that much longer if you do choose the stand in them.”
“The best thing I ever did was switched my prescriptions to JP Pharmacy from Walgreens! JP is so nice , courteous and knowledgeable. He’s fast and efficient when it comes to filling my prescriptions. The prescriptions are ready under an hour. I highly recommend JP Pharmacy! He gets 10 stars from me”

“The Well-RX pharmacy staff are consistently professional and helpful. At a time when so many prescriptions require prior authorization and other insurance “hurdles”, the Well-RX staff make it their business to make that process as painless as possible for the customer. It is very easy to talk to a real human being and on the occasions that I have had to leave a message, they have contacted me within four hours. I highly recommend this pharmacy.”
“Update: 8/22/2025 wanted to update since my initial review is pretty old.
Still a great store with a real butcher, and once again as always, a great experience. I wanted a roast size cut of ribeye which obviously they don't generally carry in the aisle meat case, so I walked up to the butcher area and quickly received help. I explained exactly what I wanted and without hesitation, the butcher said I can do that!
While I was being helped another butcher coming through the back door motion to me and ask if I was being helped and I said yes, after I received the perfect cut of ribeye at about two and a half pounds, for steak sandwiches this weekend, that second butcher again double check with me in the aisle to make sure I had been taken care of. What exactly more could you ask for?
Every employee spoke to me in the aisles, and as always the store was super clean well stocked , just another a great experience as I've always had here! This is one of the only if not the only regular grocery store actually can cut meat the way you like it. I hope that never ever changes!
I don't know, I just don't have that much difficulty as some others do, sometimes it makes me wonder so I wanted to update my review to current!

“Beth and Ms. Green were extremely helpful today. Directed me to the right breast pump and made things very convenient for me so I wouldn’t have to come back to the pharmacy. So appreciative of all that they did!
The pharmacy as well is very nice inside and has a lot of equipment options. Recommend this pharmacy and give it 5/5 stars.”

“I like Giants, their food is fresh friendly service, and well-stocked shelves. My only complaint about this particular Giant is that they are a bit pricey. I'm on a fixed income and I like fresh foods as much as anyone else but sometimes it's a no-go for me but that's me others may feel otherwise. If you can afford it then I highly recommend this establishment.”

“I've been going to CVS at Target in Pikesville forever and apparently didn't know what I've been missing. Target was out of the antibiotics my daughter needed and I quickly found Choice Pharmacy. The meds were ready for pickup within 15 minutes after the doc called it in. The staff were friendly and communicative the entire day as we tried to figure out the transfer of prescription. I definitely found my new pharmacy.”

“The store has the foods I need with a good selection of organic and natural foods. The produce and vegetables are excellent. Most of the staff members are helpful, kind, and polite, and Ms. Linda the cashier is always a delight to talk to! The food has gotten pricier over time, but that's pretty common these days.
I'm only taking a star off due to a different cashier, Faith, who didn't greet me, was muttering under her breath about how she can't wait to go home, and kept slamming my items on the scanner. She was playing gospel music on her phone and told me to have a nice Easter (I appreciate the thought but I am visibly not Christian). Normally I would chalk this up to her having a bad day and let it go, but it's not the first time she's acted this way or done this with the things I'm buying. I'll still come back to this store in the future, but she has soured my experience multiple times and I'm going to do my best to avoid her.”

“This pharmacy accepts Medicare. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. However, No Customers are allowed to enter this store! Owners say it's because of Covid. Call them when you get there. The number is on the front of the store. They will bring your prescription(s) to you.”

“Better than all the rest, the staff really seem to care about the customers. They're as fast as they can be given all of the red tape to get meds with insurance, discount cards, restrictions, etc. The filled orders are right behind them and they don't hesitate to put you in touch with a pharmacist. The department is well staffed, everyone looks busy all the time. I drive about 25 minutes to get my meds here, I won't even bother with the other big two pharmacies in our area. Their prices with GoodRX are the best and they will even try other cards they have on file to get you the best price if you ask nicely. Kindness always goes a long way when dealing with people in service roles.
Give Wegman's a shot, you will not be disappointed, above and beyond service. And if you call in and the store pharmacy is too busy, you may get transferred to a call center where the people are just as friendly and knowledgable. No ridiculously long wait times on the phone just to get disconnected.”
