“The staff is polite and friendly. They have good varieties of African food and produce but the store is messy and disorganized. Things are kinda all over the place and it's been like that for the numerous times I've dropped in to buy food.Last time I stopped by to buy some African groceries, I noticed they don't sell the meatpies and fish roll they used to sell before which was a bummer for me because they're delicious. Hope they can bring those back.Overall, the store is good, they have nice staff and good African products.”
“They have the best prices but the worst selection for groceries. Even Aldi just up the road has better selections. Lidl makes up for this slightly with several isles of non-food items. Sometimes if you're lucky, you can find items that have been returned or are close to expiration that are discounted significantly.”

I'm actually glad they are in a different location given all of the gentrification in what used to be the Florida Ave. Wholesale Market. However I am saddened for the businesses that were priced out/pushed out to make way for high priced restaurants, apartments & retail. It destroyed the authenticity of the area.”

She is very rude and harsh. I have tried to figure out her work schedule as to avoid seeing her. The West African influence is noticed in the cosmetics, cultural clothes and accessories and chopped meat in the back. There are assorted rices, cookies & spices. You can find a small selection of clothing, accessories and purses. I love that they carry Marmite. The cashiers are always nice. Bonus points for the soap opera playing in Spanishs on tv.”
