They've even had my stuff hanging, waiting for me. Love this place. Never any issues. Even stayed open a few minutes later for me. Their patch jobs are great too!”

“I have been taking clothes here for a couple of years, mainly dress shirts to be laundered and ironed and the occasional suit or sport coat for dry cleaning. The owner is always very friendly and courteous. Sometimes she will see me coming from the parking lot and will start to get my clothes ready before I even make it in the door. On more than one occasion when I've had my young children with me, she has, unprompted, carried my things to my car for me, because she could see that my hands were full with the kids. “This was my first time using a laundry service, and I have to say that every staff member that I interacted with did such an amazing job with customer service and ensuring that everything I needed for my elderly disabled mother was taken care of. From the guys who took calls to the people who washed the clothes to the delivery man, all the customer service was top-notch notch and I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to someone else. No odors, just clean smelling perfectly folded clothes. A little pricey but for that kind of experience I don't mind the costs.”

“I visited The Family Laundromat this morning to do a small load of laundry. I was pleasantly surprised. The location is clean and the employees were friendly. Prices were fair. The hot wash cycle was actually hot. Every other laundromat I’ve visited in the area the hot water cycle is cold. I highly recommend this location.”

“I tried this place several years ago (before the current owner) and said I’d never go back because it was so dreary. I NEVER saw anyone other than the patrons and even they were limited. It was almost as if it was operating on autopilot BUT NOW… this is one of the most lively laundromat’s to go to. It’s clearly staffed, well maintained and everything is always in working order. “This is the best dry cleaners I've ever used. Period. Ganchi is the woman who operates the place, and she is so exacting about every last detail. She is also just such a nice woman. You never need your ticket because she memorizes your name. If something comes back less than perfect, she proactively sends it out again to be re-done. I had to move away for a year, and I really missed having such an exceptional dry cleaners nearby. I think the bad ratings that some people gave must have been before Ganchi started running the place. She is just exceptional, and I would find it hard to believe that anyone could have a bad experience with her.”

“I've gone to Amax consistently for over a year and they're the best dry cleaning service in the area. I don't know why the reviews are so bad (maybe management turned over). I've only experienced absolute hospitality, flexibility, and professionalism from the Women who work here. Prices are consistent and fair, and everything comes back clean and well-handled. They also have a tailor who comes weekly to do alterations, and they do an amazing job. I've had multiple pairs of pants altered at the waist, hip, and ankle to satisfaction. I've seen others have leather/pleather worked on as well. The team is super hardworking and will take time to talk to you about more bespoke issues, like cashmere that's been shrunken or odd stains that won't come out.I don't normally leave reviews, but this place needs a rating closer to 5 stars.”

“Ok so I convinced myself to "pay for peace" and tried a laundry service. Yes, I have a washer and dryer in my apartment. Yes, there's even a laundry room in my building. But when life get's busy and I get lazy, it's time to outsource. Laundry mom was GREAT. They picked up my laundry before 7am on a Weds and dropped it off clean and folded at 7am the next morning. They were even accommodating to my request about types of detergent used. 100% worth it.”
“Their exceptional professionalism was found in the way they followed up with customers. We hired them for a move-in/move-out clean-up. The first time the team came, they didn't do a great job. Just when I wanted to call them, the company manager called me to inquire how satisfied I was with their work. I was impressed that they call each customer to make sure their work is exceptional and follow up promptly. When I unpacked what I was not satisfied with, they sprang up in action immediately and the owner herself came out to check out the work their team did. Not only did she re-do the clean up herself the following day, but she also used it as a teaching moment for her staff to make sure her team KNOWS and UNDERSTANDS what her expectations are, which is pretty high even for someone like me who is a bit germophobic. It is needless to say that the house was sparkling after the re-do. She even managed to get rid of tough stains I thought would take a miracle to remove. With the way the owner trains her staff and the details they pay attention to, I have no doubt that their work will stay exceptional. I will hire them again.Service: Moving clean”

“This is my go to place for cleaning and restoring all my shoes. It was much easier to take my favorite pair of Js or Air Max to have them refreshed rather than trying to find them again and paying the high prices now. In a time of things being so exspensive this place is a def go to for me. Also you can donate shoes so if you have shoes you do not know what to do with donate them so they can go to someone that needs them.”

“I think this location was Dryclean, USA during the 80s. Hatred it, hate all ZIPS more. Tried every ZIPS around Beltway since 1980. All stink, including the one 2 miles from me. I found Parkland on Wisconsin Ave. Great cleaner, great service, stellar management, cheaper than anyone. (Truth). Used them since 2001. BUT, Life always changes. They went out of biz 1 and 1/2 years ago.? Searched again. New Year's week this year, found Pacific. Loved their cleaning. Liked their repair on my favorite sportcoat (that took serious skills). And the prices are always right. I always seek the deal, quality and discount. Pacific is now my go to. ? PS: known to be picky. Great service and people. You won't be disappointed.”
