“I came to the NFCU on Feb 6, 2024. Deposited a tax refund check and experienced a small set back with the image reading through the ATM. The next day I noticed the check was not pending. I called NFCU spoke with several associates and was told that a check had to be reissued. However when I went into the branch and spoke with Ms. Terri Kipp (branch leader). She went above and beyond to make sure I did not have to wait another 7 to 10 business days to receive my funds. I hope management knows she is a real asset to the company.”

“Great customer service. Representatives almost always available by chat and people actually call me back. It's easy to talk to a live person. Even better, I feel good about my money staying in my community. I like that they make loans to my neighbors. I wanted to bank Black, but the Black-owned banks didn't offer the services I needed. Banking locally in Prince George's County is banking, Black, for all practical purposes. I'd rather keep my money here than at some giant corporate bank that survives on taxpayer handouts.”
“Small and convenient for those who live, work on post. I live nearby and always use the drive up ATM which helps me avoid having to go inside. When I do go in the reps are always very nice and helpful. Keep in mind the hours are limited but there is another NFCU nearby in Odenton (same shopping area as WEIS, Chesapeake Dental, Transformations gym).”

“Far and away the easiest place to deposit, store, and withdraw large amounts of cash for considerations, mobile yoga and dance services, and quick real estate transactions, in the entire, and I do mean entire, greater Washington DC metropolis. I would go so far as to say there is no better place on the East Coast for Lobbying. You don't have to have the cash on you for long, ha ha, with 100 muggers across the street and 435 located up around the bend. The bills are a bit new and crispy, but they pack readily into fanny-assed candy a** packs, and the locals are more than happy to help you move these because they sell them back to their own government for more than face value. Don't wander too far by car. Recommend going on foot. to the bay, and renting a speedboat.”
