“My name is Ms. Allen. First I would like to start off saying I Love Nordstrom Rack in the Lanham Store. I watch them build the store and remember when it first open up. I’ve seen this store customer service turn around for the good. I am a regular shopper and the employee are friendly and pleasant! I wanted to give a shout out to James Mann the store manager. He really turn this store around with his professional customer service I would say “ Old School “ customer service. I was disappointed when he left the store for away but also very happy for him. The store was clean, and not difficult to move around. Recently, James Mann return back to Nordstrom and so happy he did because the store was going down. He has a high standards of customer always willing to help out and just carry a nice conversation. Also, I wanted to acknowledge Ron Akihs which is a manager as well. A few weeks ago I had a return and as I was waiting in line i immediately notice a new face his amazing customer service skills, very pleasant and knowledgeable and was willing to resolve a customer issue. Words can not express how much I appreciate that! Keep up the great work in our community! Love the Rack”

“I had no business coming in here, but I did anyway. You never know what you might find to take home to become a part of your collection. That's exactly what I ended up doing here. I immediately went to the housewares section in hopes of finding something for my kitchen area and maybe for the living room area. I had no business doing this, but I wanted to find myself something nice. I browsed and browsed, and after some digging and treasure hunting, I found a few items that I though would suit me quite nice. Much cheaper than finding them at other area stores. I especially enjoy browsing their hidden clearance sections throughout the store. They sometimes have some pretty good items in there, just be sure that they aren't broken being repair. Made my way to pay and out to my vehicle with my new finds and happy with this diversion of a stop.”

“This is another store that is technically attached to the mall, but you need to go outside in order to access it. Best to just move your car and save yourself the hassle.I came here in search of some items that I didn't seem to have because of my recent move. Honestly, I had nothing in mind when I walked in here, but of course I found something. Like every single other person that walks in here, you end up with something.I do have to say, compared to the neighboring, similar store, this one is much more organized, and appears much cleaner. Although you can never predict what stock they have they were well stocked with what they did actually have. I did a lot of browsing and ended up with things that I knew I wanted but not necessarily needed.Check out was a breeze and pleasant. The staff were polite and made sure to take care of items purchased.”

I wasn't even really looking for anything in particular, but since I was out, I wanted to keep myself busy by stopping at as many shopping plazas as I could. What a stupid mistake, especially since this plaza was a bit wonky. I came in here to honestly grab some essentials that I didn't necessarily have to have, but since I was out, why not get what I need and be done with it. Even though it was busy in here, I was still able to find what I needed and not feel rushed about it. However, when it came to checking out, there was a larger than expected line. I didn't mind, I was here for a reason, to waste some time and get some items. I had my airpods in and was minding my business. Get to the head of the line at the self checkout area and had the most pleasant discussion with the lady manning the area. She should be in a different line of work. Approaching people and just having a leisurely conversation with them. She had a gift which made for a nice end of a shopping trip.”

“Hay ... it's a Military Exchange store, nothing exciting here. You've been in one Military Exchange then you've been in them all. This establishment is extremely clean and well lit. Employees are lacking in numbers as for this trip I walked half the store to find someone. Between my last visit and this visit all but two of the registers have been replaced with Self-service checkouts. I HATE SELF-SERVE CHECKOUTS. And it's been close to a year since my last visit. Overall the visit was decent and I found everything I was looking for. Despite having to hunt down an employee and having to scan-n-pay my own self the visit was ok. So 4-stars to this PX.”

She automatically found two bottles that I needed of tea tree oil. It was so kind of her to help me out due to the fact that I'm only two weeks out surgery. That's what I call customer service.”
