I went to ACTUALLY buy just sugar, and was overwhelmed (in a good way, like a kid in a candy store) with options!
Prices are absolutely reasonable. I buy organic raw cane in the grocery store all the time, and I know a deal when I come across it!
On my next visit to Glut, I'll remember to bring my basket & containers for my bought supplies.

“If you're looking for a true community hub with amazing prices, this is it. It’s a bit of a hidden gem, but the shelves are fully stocked with East African staples like lentils, specialty teas, and even tej (honey wine). I loved the smell of freshly brewed arabic tea the second I walked in. It’s clearly a favorite for locals, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Great value for authentic products you just can’t find at a standard grocery store.”

“This MOM'S Market does not have a food counter, but plenty of vegan choices on the shelves and in the refrigerated area. Pre-made meals like lasagna and salads, beverages (including a coffee area), bulk items. A great place to stock up on kitchen staples.”

“I have a list of regularly visited grocery stores, and now I've added The Fresh Market and recently became a loyalty club member. Here's why: I just love the store's cleanliness, the fresh produce and the weekly meal prep deals - usually $25 for a meal for four. The meat counter staff is extremely attentive and helpful. Also, if the check-out line gets a little long, staff will leave the floor area and immediately open another line for checkout. I have to add its so nice to shop at a place with no self checkout!
My only criticism is with some staff. One example - I ordered the Mother's Day meal prep and the staff person forgot to provide the prep instructions. That's pretty important. However, I was able to call the store and speak with, I believe, the manager, who was very kind, patient and helpful. He took the time to read all the prep instructions over the phone while I wrote everything down.
What made me write this review is yesterday I didn't realize there was a buy one pound, get one pound free on cooked chicken wings at the deli. I happened to stop by and ordered three lbs. of wings. Had I known about the deal, I would have asked for four. The deli staff person never once volunteered I could get a free pound. I know its not her job to tell me about specials, but why not say something? So I paid close to $10.00 for almost three pounds when most were getting four pounds for $10.00. Now I know I have to scour the website prior to visiting the store or I may miss out on a good deal!
Overall, I know I'll become a regular shopper here even though its a bit far from home.”
“I love Wegmans, but if you need to order a cake with photos, this is not a good place to go, they prepare your cake the day of the pickup, they don’t take account something may go wrong, I understand that it’s a mechanical error, but it has to be a better plan, I was expecting a picture cake and now because I couldn’t get it, my daughters 17th birthday is ruined! I could have gotten a refund, but than no cake! Please Wegmans have a better plan!”

“It was my first time at this location. I came here for spring water, hellmann's mayonnaise, and bragg's apple cider vinegar with the mother. They had everything. The store was clean and organized.”
“The place is clean, well organized, convenient for the surrounding neighborhoods. You tend to get a feel for the niche each different grocery chain sports. H.T. is no different. They have their brands of stuff others don't, at least not that I've noticed. I like their lime Popsicles. I can't tell if they are more expensive than other chains or the same, but the $130 is spent didn't seen to go very far even after signing up for their VIC card. an acronym of which I don't the words... there was a lot of buy 1 get 1 free items of which i did my best to take advantage, but not withstanding, the over all cost felt steep. A nice place to shop, but Sam's pricing has them beat...”

“Cheapest gas in Prince George’s county north of Rt 4, and typically cheaper than Anne ARUNDEL stations along Rt 301.
Unfortunately they often have 1 or more pumps out of order and the hoses are too short, making difficult or impossible to fill if your tank is on the opposite side from the pumps.
But what the heck is wrong with the people using the pumps?? They form a ling snake line on the driveway, deep on time of day this line can be 20 minutes waiting with every car engine running. However the long line is exacerbated by a large number of people who won’t go into the queue until there’s a spot open at a pump.
Then they sit in their car for several minutes THEN get out walk up to the pump and fiddle with getting cards from the wallet. Sheesh how moronic!”

“Thus global food was clean, well-organized, efficient, and easy to get in and out of. It isn’t like the other global food stores in the region though- it is smaller and more Latin cuisine focused. Only one Asian food aisle and no middle eastern aisle. Meat prices and egg prices were a little bit better than regional prices (same as Aldi prices), but produce prices were all over the place with some items (limes) very affordable, and others crazy high (watermelon $15, Asian pear $5).”
“I used to love this place, but the prices are through the roof. Still, some items are cheaper than buying on Amazon. It still provides dairy products that are NOT offered anywhere else, and is a cut above other health food stores. But too many times the items I go there to get are sold out. We rely on it for dairy. Has lots of pasture raised products. Two bags of groceries can easily run $200.”
“Awesome store. Food items are fresh and very affordable compared to other stores. I was very impressed with the store arrangements, well labeled and easier to locate what you want. Prices are also included so you can know what quantity you want. The meat and fish section was very neat and well preserved. Staff were very polite. “For years I’ve gone to the reputable pharmacy that’s been around forever. But I switched about 2 or more years ago for a better experience. Here at Giant Pharmacy, Annapolis Road, everyone is so kind and helpful and my prescriptions are always filled timely, they have no problem calling your doctor for more information, waits are never too long and everyone smiles to include the pharmacists and they truly want to help you. I highly recommend if you’re tired of long lines, overworked staff, groggy responses, this may be the place for you to get your medication. I am so happy here!”

They even offer live crabs they steam on the spot...
