“Lourdes was SO incredibly helpful! I tried a bigger chain mart but I didn't get the service and product I was looking for. Lourdes was helpful, friendly, and made suggestions that were helpful. It is a small but mighty little market! Great place for the Filipino stuff my mom always used.”

“I have never been disappointed in the quality of their produce. It's always fresh. Never old or limp looking. Their prices are great for organic foods. They have good sales on items I frequently use. Never have to wait in line. If they get busy... They call out the troops! Also, some of the friendliest employees I've had the pleasure of meeting. I wish Mom's of Bowie could be rated MORE than 5 Stars!!!”

“All these is one of my favorite stores unfortunately there was a very sarcastic cashier that I met up with the last time I was there but I can say there was a very nice Prince George's County Police on duty”

“On 09.11.23 I purchased catfish from the Giant at the Collington Plaza Bowie, MD location. When I arrived home I discovered that the fish was spoiled. I immediately called and a very attentive nice young lady name Alleyah answered my call. She asked me to return to the store and she would take care of everything. I really didn’t expect that type of pleasant customer service. Often people in the service industry are extremely rude. When arrived Alleyah was there and she kept her word. She took control of the situation and I’m a very happy customer. I wish all of the Giant stores would hire people more like Alleyah. Thanks Alleyah for being a shining star.”

“Very clean grocery store with great variety of produce and vegetables at great prices. Another Lidl less than 7 miles from this location at Glendale/Greenbelt. This one is larger and has more items.”

“Lately, I caught myself thinking that I would prefer to go to Harris Teeter Bowie because the people up front at the registers seem to have gotten their act together and I know that I will get rung up fast and they won't keep me waiting at self-checkout for long like Giant across the street does, Giant is abysmal at checkout, Giant wastes a lot of customer time waiting for associates to stop socially talking to each other to help customers waiting-and-waiting, Giant does that incessantly, I wont step foot in Giant's doors, I am loyal Harris Teeter customer. Harris Teeter has great sales (not so great regular prices), club card ecoupons, gas discounts. I don't know what to think of the pharmacy, all I got was a test there a long while back and it was easily discernable that the pharmacist was clearly not happy about it so I just never used their pharmacy after that; he was super busy, by himself, stressed out. Anytime you find yourself thinking that you can go to a certain store and you can count in them getting you out the door in timely manner, and like they care that they are helping you, that's a place to be loyal to, that's the current staff at Harris Teeter Bowie.”

“Probably the most organized Shoppers in the area. Customer service is not so great - which is the case at every Shoppers. Aside from the customer service - I actually enjoyed visiting this store instead of the Target next door.”

“I've lived in Bowie 10 years and continue to return to this Giant. The staff is always lovely, helpful and cheerful. I appreciate their prices and selection even with two higher end grocery stores nearby. Also appreciate all they have done to keep things moving throughout the pandemic.”

“This store Manager Ron Holmes, his Non perishable Manager (Mike, I believe) and another associate where so gentlemanly trying to jump my car battery when it suddenly decided to "die" in parking lot after i just ran in to grab a quick item. Mind you it 24 degrees outside with a nasty wind chill. As a travel nurse who is away from home, this meant the WORLD to me. They couldn't get it going, even after giving it the old college try, multiple times. This has won my heart and my loyalty to this store. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you”

“I was not a fan of Harris Teeter when they first opened, but they have really gotten their act together, I found myself thinking when I was in a hurry and deciding where to shop, ".... but if I go to the Harris Teeter, they run their cashiers and front-end "tight" and get you out faster than Giant...." that's quite a compliment for a customer to think that about check-out of a store, not a fan of the set-up design of Harris Teeter check-out though, but Giant leaves you waiting while their employees talk to each other, when they aren't even busy, Harris Teeter puts Giant to shame. I've seen some issues w/customer service at Harris Teeter, but Giant is worse by far. I find Giant so horrible that I was shopping at Safeway at Fairview before Harris Teeter opened up at Marketplace... I think Harris Teeter regular prices are a little too high, just like Giant and Safeway, BUT, Harris Teeter sales are GREAT. I find that my grocery bill is MUCH lower shopping sale items at Harris Teeter (and Safeway sometimes too) than Target or Walmart that don't have sales on their groceries like Harris Teeter and Safeway.... I don't like the refrigerated egg section of Harris Teeter because I've gotten eggs ruined from being frozen more than once. I like being able to grab old coffee grinds to compost from Harris Teeter Starbucks. I have grown to really like many of the employees at Harris Teeter, very sweet and caring and helpful. Join their club for gas discount points at BP, and clip ecoupons to use when you use your club card at checkout, totally worth it.”

“We are teaching our daughter how to drive. She drove me to BJs gas station. The line was long, but it moved very fast before you knew it we were at the pump pumping gas and laughing because I could not scan the card to start the purchase because her dad always fills up the cars with gas.”

“I love Dollar General I was introduced down South and they could be a little cleaner and better, I know they are short staff. The manger always there and helpful if ask. Maybe the owner should see what can make it better. Don't blame staff.”

“I used Safeway points to lower the price 30 cents per gallon. Normally would buy from Costco but I needed gas in a can also. Costco high tech pump won't allow you to use a can.”

“I stopped by to pick up a few things for a rainy afternoon lunch. I was able to get some Select Tomato bisque soup, a cold cut sandwich, and a soda. The service is the check out was great. The store was well organized and stocked. I will definitely be back.”

“Went for a late lunch and were able to take advantage of the happy hour food and drink specials. Besides the food being really, really good, the happy hour prices were great (mini pizza for $7, Margarita for $6). And our server (Precious) was OUTSTANDING, easily handling a party of 10 with 3 small children. Kudos to her and the rest of the very friendly and accommodating staff.”
