However, this shop fixed it and they did it in a timely fashion. I am completely satisfied with doing business with this company. They are honest and fair. “The five stars is just to not ruin your rating.Okay, the staff were polite and nice to talk to. But their price is VERY VERY VERY high. I went to fix my prius which had ABS and Brake warning light and after a check up (which by the way you have to pay $160 whether you fix your car or not) they say that I need almost $4K to fix the ABS system. At the end of the day I end up with a bad news and paying $150 (they didnt have change and left the $10) for nothing. But, fortunately, I ended up fixing my car with less than $1K without paying any checkup fee. Therefore, as a friendly advice, I encourage you focus on the services you provide as much as the money you want to get paid. Im hoping you will take this as a constructive suggestion. “My starter went out on my truck and I normally take it the dealership for all my repairs. Every dealership were backlogged for a week. I remembered Padgett Shop, because they are in my area. I called and spoke with Tyler a very nice and person with great phone etiquettes. Long story short, I bought my starter at the dealership and Tyler installed it for me the next day. He checked me in and about an hour later, he called and said he was finished. It's been a few days now and I'm still a satisfied customer”

“I love Jiffy lube they do excellent work. I took my car to get an oil change and they check everything. They wash my windows, front and rear window, they also vacuum my car out front seat and back seat. They will let you know what maintenance needs to be done. I’m only going to deal with Jiffy Lube for now on. They are so awesome!!”

The prices are good and favorable when compared to other shops (being much better than chain store prices). The parking is a bit difficult as there is little to no space on the shop grounds.”

“June 2022 my steering started to tighten on my car as I came off 295 to Suitland Pkwy. After a few stop and go, I managed to roll my car into Hillcrest repair shop. I had little point of reference for this shop; it just happened to be the closest place I could get to. The service was great! I believe the owner/lead mechanic was Alfonso. He was great! They offered OEM parts and a fast turn around. My car was ready the next evening. I highly recommend this company for reliable auto repair. I was truly impressed with my rotor and brake job replacement, left axle replacement repair, right side axle seal replaced. “Was in service for an alignment because had just bought new tires, and the service indicator came up on my dash. Had done some internet research on shops near me, and I was already familiar with them from Alexandria. So this morning I drove down to the shop and it wasn't busy. Since I was a first-time customer, I filled out an intake sheet. Asked them about an alignment and she said about an hour and a half. So I caught an Uber home but before I left one of the service techs was taking my car into the bay. So when I got back home I got a call 15 minutes later that my car was ready. Got there joked that I had a coupon and do they take them, good laughter. Had a quick conversation about cars and I left. Quick, easy, good customer service! Alignment $110/tax.”

“Went in for a state inspection and failed to my shock- 2018 tiguan. The technician explained my rotors were the wrong size (too small/another story for another day) and my brakes were functioning improperly.Took it to the VW dealership for a double check, their "brake check" indicated nothing was wrong.After this clear report, I asked them to verify what DRSC told me, the dealership went back and verified my rotors were too small! Impressed these little shop picked up my and the dealership's mistake.”

Capitol Hill Auto has provided routine maintenance and repairs for three different types of cars, both foreign and domestic. The prices are very reasonable.It is a small shop with a dedicated client base. As such, they are usually busy. This isn’t a spot for one hour oil changes. If you’re able to give them 24 hours to complete their work, you won’t be disappointed.”
