“A great shop full of great people. It has a small town shop feel where they try and get to know you and your needs. They are always willing to help even if no sale is involved and very knowledgeable about everything to do with bicycles. Would never buy a bike from a big box store again.”
“Update: The owner reached out to me in order to correct this situation. Not only did he drive more than 30 mins to pick up my bike, they had it fixed the same day. I am very happy to say that they stand behind their work and will go beyond to make it right.
Thank You Ernest!
Old Review:
I own a Lectric XPress 750, that was delivered with a leaky back hydraulic brake. This shop was recommended as a Lectric Service Partner with all the correct tools and parts to fix the problem. When I picked it up, I was very disappointed to see the brake routed externally because the mechanic said they didn't have the correct parts to replace the hydraulic fitting.”
“Family Bike Shop in Crofton, MD is a fantastic local gem! This family-owned spot offers outstanding customer service from knowledgeable staff who treat everyone like regulars. Great selection of bikes for all ages and levels, expert repairs, and perks like free lifetime tune-ups on purchases. Highly recommended for families and enthusiasts alike—friendly, reliable, and truly passionate about cycling!”
“You gotta review the reviewers, right? I read a bunch of the negative reviews, and they seemed to have one thing in common. Mike informed them that they'd made a poor choice. Arguably, Mike would be wiser just selling and not expressing his concern, but it's obvious that he's in this business because he loves it and cares about it. I don't really know Mike, and I don't have some vested interest here, but I've been the guy, working in the shop, who knows his stuff and cares about it (motorcycles, back in the 90's). You want the guy who flatters to get your dollar? Go to a different shop. You want the guy who knows his stuff and will give you the best product and service he knows how to give you? You should come to this shop.”
