“Demmy's is a very good pharmacy with very friendly and knowledgeable individuals. The only issue ai hae is with their email process and how the app is designed and works. I find it not easy to use and understand. I find that many things I want appear to only be to be done by asking the pharmacy individuals to do it. If a user can do the things, that ia not obvious. I would prefer using a much more user friendly app which is easily understandable -- that is not what I have found in using the app for a little more than two months evn though I have extensive knowledge of computers.”

“The place is clean, well organized, convenient for the surrounding neighborhoods. You tend to get a feel for the niche each different grocery chain sports. H.T. is no different. They have their brands of stuff others don't, at least not that I've noticed. I like their lime Popsicles. I can't tell if they are more expensive than other chains or the same, but the $130 is spent didn't seen to go very far even after signing up for their VIC card. an acronym of which I don't the words... there was a lot of buy 1 get 1 free items of which i did my best to take advantage, but not withstanding, the over all cost felt steep. A nice place to shop, but Sam's pricing has them beat...”

“Great local grocery store that is a real throwback in an era of only chain supermarkets. Staff really get to know the customers and you can get some great deals if you go in open to cooking whatever the sales are. Incredible wine department for a small store!”

“The regular lines were several people long, but the self-checkout had no wait. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. In general, I like this store. They keep it organized, clean, and stocked. When there has been a problem, the employees have been nice and helpful. Update (6/25): still a clean and reasonable store”

“Huge and well stocked. You could practically get everything you needed from the store. It bubbled and had good staffing with fresh foods (fruits and vegetables included). Unfortunately, they closed down in the wake of the COVID pandemic. Giant has since taken over the facility. I am certainly one of those who miss this ShopRite store.”

“Picked up my medicine at the Pharmacy. Was feeling peckish, so I looked around briefly in the Bakery department to see if there were any prepackaged items I could bring home for my son and me, most of the baked goods are rather pricey. All I could find that was reasonable were donuts. I got some chocolate iced peanut butter filled donuts (all they had left), which were very tasty.”

“I switched from Walgreens a few years ago to Lawsons and my only regret is that I didnt switch sooner! A real family pharmacy, great professional friendly service every time. And when you call? You get a live person, not the endless recordings as with chain pharmacies. Definitely recommend Lawsons; support our independent neighborhood businesses!”

Michelle took the time to help me with my giant app that all of a sudden was acting like it wasn't trying to function well, Michelle took her time helping me and it ran into the time that she was supposed to be getting off of work. Michelle Still was willing to help me it was very frustrating for me and got very overwhelming Michelle helped me through the overwhelming and getting my giant app working as should have! Michelle was a blessing at that time of help! I could have left the store feeling pissed off overwhelmed and some more, but I did not thanks to Michelle! I left the store feeling great ? Thank You Michelle ? I really hope that Michelle will get the recognition for going way and beyond best customer service cashier from Giant Food Corporation! On February the 4th 2026 I went to the store 3:42 4119 Branch avenue Marlow heights Maryland 20748. The cashier Matthew was very professional and such the perfect gentleman! I can reach someone on the phone, prompt filling of my prescriptions, and if something needs to be ordered, I usually receive sooner than expected. Thank you for all you do ❤”

“I never thought I'd be writing a review for a pharmacy, but this one is really good! The first time I used them, my doctor called in a prescription. Before I had even left the doctor's parking lot, Avalon called me to talk about the prescription and to tell me they were starting to fill it already. (Super fast!). I was able to pick it up on my way home. On another visit, I was able to get medication filled while I waited. They are also stocked with other medical-related supplies as well. Excellent pharmacy, highly recommended! Thank you Avalon!”

“I just need to leave a post about how great this pharmacy is. I take an antidepressant for which many generics do not work and my horrible insurance (United) won’t pay for the name brand. The wonderful pharmacists at Padek continue to go above and beyond to get me a generic from a manufacturer that actually works. It is hard to express how much that means in general, but especially in the darkness of depression when your medication isn’t working and they just figure it out without putting you though hell. Please help keep pharmacies like Padek in business. They save lives.”

“For the past several months my medications have not been delivered on time and I have even ran out of my medications because of the new staff I've been thinking about changing pharmacies I've been asking to speak with Dr . MenYaw for 2 weeks now and he hasn't called me yet, I don't believe they gave him my message because I know that he would have returned my call, I am his first costumer when he opened the pharmacy on Minnesota Ave and I've been with him since, but the new staff is making it difficult for me to stay, I really like this pharmacy but since the staff have changed I'm not getting my medications delivered the way I'm supposed to I have to, the staff is always attentive and respectful it's just trying to get all of my medications and my daughters medications delivered on time has changed 😪”

“Walking into this pharmacy reminds me of the old Cheers show—where everybody knows your name. The pharmacist/owner is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about his customers. I love that the owner takes the time to remember your name and ask how your family is doing. We've been getting our prescriptions filled here for years, and in that time, he’s watched my kids grow up. They always get our prescriptions right and treat us like family. I highly recommend East Pines Pharmacy.”

“Not the best experience with buying donuts on this particular day. Once getting into the store at 7am(opening), the bakery Dept. had limited variety of donuts. When questioning the baker, she stated that donuts weren't made before store opening and I should call in my order the day before. A manager who heard the comment disagreed and stated the bakery Dept was open since 5am and the variety of donuts should've been available. The baker did bring out a few more varieties of donuts, but I had to wait between 10-20min. Donuts themselves were delicious.”

“Very efficient. Able to get prescriptions filled in a very timely manner that both Walgreens and CVS said was on back order and would take at least 30 days. Have used New Era for the last 3 months and will continue to do so.”
