“This MOM'S Market does not have a food counter, but plenty of vegan choices on the shelves and in the refrigerated area. Pre-made meals like lasagna and salads, beverages (including a coffee area), bulk items. A great place to stock up on kitchen staples.”

It still provides dairy products that are NOT offered anywhere else, and is a cut above other health food stores. But too many times the items I go there to get are sold out. We rely on it for dairy. Has lots of pasture raised products. Two bags of groceries can easily run $200.”
“I love Wegmans, but if you need to order a cake with photos, this is not a good place to go, they prepare your cake the day of the pickup, they don’t take account something may go wrong, I understand that it’s a mechanical error, but it has to be a better plan, I was expecting a picture cake and now because I couldn’t get it, my daughters 17th birthday is ruined! I could have gotten a refund, but than no cake! Please Wegmans have a better plan!”

“The place is clean, well organized, convenient for the surrounding neighborhoods. You tend to get a feel for the niche each different grocery chain sports. H.T. is no different. They have their brands of stuff others don't, at least not that I've noticed. I like their lime Popsicles. I can't tell if they are more expensive than other chains or the same, but the $130 is spent didn't seen to go very far even after signing up for their VIC card. an acronym of which I don't the words... there was a lot of buy 1 get 1 free items of which i did my best to take advantage, but not withstanding, the over all cost felt steep. A nice place to shop, but Sam's pricing has them beat...”

“For years I’ve gone to the reputable pharmacy that’s been around forever. But I switched about 2 or more years ago for a better experience. Here at Giant Pharmacy, Annapolis Road, everyone is so kind and helpful and my prescriptions are always filled timely, they have no problem calling your doctor for more information, waits are never too long and everyone smiles to include the pharmacists and they truly want to help you. I highly recommend if you’re tired of long lines, overworked staff, groggy responses, this may be the place for you to get your medication. I am so happy here!”
“This store has to be the busiest store. Locally for Aldi. This store suffered a detriment to its efficiency when the Self-Checkout lanes were eliminated. The reason given was that shoplifting was rampant and profits were affected. However, in order to handle the large amounts of customers more than 2 checkout lanes need to be open at all times. It's often discouraging for a shopper that has an small amount of items to see a line backed up to the Aldi finds isle upon entering the store. Perhaps they can revisit the Self-Checkout in another capacity. Maybe similar to the system at Primark where you have to scan your receipt to exit. In this case you have 1 employee to overwatch multiple registers. In this age of automation surely the German based company can devise a new system rather that having to revert after making such progress in grocery store efficiency.”

“I have a list of regularly visited grocery stores, and now I've added The Fresh Market and recently became a loyalty club member. Here's why: I just love the store's cleanliness, the fresh produce and the weekly meal prep deals - usually $25 for a meal for four. The meat counter staff is extremely attentive and helpful. Also, if the check-out line gets a little long, staff will leave the floor area and immediately open another line for checkout. I have to add its so nice to shop at a place with no self checkout! My only criticism is with some staff. One example - I ordered the Mother's Day meal prep and the staff person forgot to provide the prep instructions. That's pretty important. However, I was able to call the store and speak with, I believe, the manager, who was very kind, patient and helpful. He took the time to read all the prep instructions over the phone while I wrote everything down. What made me write this review is yesterday I didn't realize there was a buy one pound, get one pound free on cooked chicken wings at the deli. I happened to stop by and ordered three lbs. of wings. Had I known about the deal, I would have asked for four. The deli staff person never once volunteered I could get a free pound. I know its not her job to tell me about specials, but why not say something? So I paid close to $10.00 for almost three pounds when most were getting four pounds for $10.00. Now I know I have to scour the website prior to visiting the store or I may miss out on a good deal! Overall, I know I'll become a regular shopper here even though its a bit far from home.”

“This store has a wide variety of food, fruits, meat and snacks items. There is a few household products for cleaning, bathroom up keep, kitchen wares and medicines. The prices are reasonable and competitive too. Generally clean, well kept with everything in its place according to aisle numbers. Although all the workers are Hispanic, or of some Spanish speaking cultures, they are very friendly and helpful as they assist their customers of all ages, race and economic status. I am not Hispanic and I love shopping there.”

Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions. Behind the scenes, the service leans on Walmart's store network and an algorithm that factors in order size, available drivers, and distance from the store.
Trader Joe's keeps adding stores, and shoppers keep showing up. The California grocer has marked nine more locations as "opening soon," pushing its expansion into new corners of the country. The grocer also took first place in the American Customer Satisfaction Index's 2026 supermarket rankings. It has held a spot near the top of that list for years.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.
Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
