“Great place. Someone recommended this place to us for winter gear and they did not disappoint. Found a good selection of snow boots and winter suits for my 4 yo and 2 yo. Also picked up rain boots while we were there.The girls thought it was a Toy Story store which had lots of options for new toys (Melissa and Doug, Barbies and other) as well as used toys that are in like new condition.I haven’t yet tried to sell things here but I will. The process seems easy enough. Highly recommend anyone with toddlers and infants to come over take a look.”
“I was invited to my colleague's baby shower. I didn't know what to get. Staff were so kind and nice, they did a phenomenal job with gift wrapping (they got all kinds of wraps, ribbons, even cards). I always thought this place was some kid bookstore, gym, thanks to Google, I now know that this place sells dolls, toys, baby bibs, shoes etc. Really local, really nice, makes me want to go back to being a kid.”

Finding my size (usually a M to L) was a breeze! In search of a quick night-out ensemble, I stumbled upon several adorable black dresses ?. Kudos to the excellent customer service and the friendly demeanor of the cashiers ?. The alluring selection of jewelry and accessories near the checkout was impossible to ignore and elevated my overall look ✨. Navigating through, and using the dressing room was remarkably swift and hassle-free ?. My only grumble pertains to the notorious DC parking ?. With limited street parking, opting for area garages is almost imperative to avoid those pesky tickets ?. “This is another store that is technically attached to the mall, but you need to go outside in order to access it. Best to just move your car and save yourself the hassle.I came here in search of some items that I didn't seem to have because of my recent move. Honestly, I had nothing in mind when I walked in here, but of course I found something. Like every single other person that walks in here, you end up with something.I do have to say, compared to the neighboring, similar store, this one is much more organized, and appears much cleaner. Although you can never predict what stock they have they were well stocked with what they did actually have. I did a lot of browsing and ended up with things that I knew I wanted but not necessarily needed.Check out was a breeze and pleasant. The staff were polite and made sure to take care of items purchased.”
“This year, due to obvious circumstances, my husband and I wanted to shop exclusively at local businesses for Christmas. This wasn't super difficult except when it came to all the kids in our lives. We didn't know if a local kids store, and we stumbled on this place. I was blown away with the adorable stuff in here. Yes, it's small, but that did not mean inventory was low. I LOVED finding unique gifts that I know my nieces and nephews won't get from other people shopping at big box stores. And with a newborn myself, I was thrilled to find that they carry Magnetic Me onesies (which we love). I am happy to support this small business and don't feel like I'm doing any favors in doing so because I feel lucky for the finds!”

“Prices were decent however they need to get their air fixed so I’m taking away one star for that. Long lines but the cashiers are doing the best they can. Polo shirts are $4.99 skirts and skorts are around $9.99-16.99 and long pants are ranged from $13.99 and up. They also have long sleeves and discounted items for 50 percent off.”
“I'm a shopper...but the deals...are amazing!! I miss the Head Stylist and Manager/Master Stylist LaShawn...She was amazing there and personable..easy to talk to. Ba'sheba is pretty good too, (JCPenny Salon btw)she does my sister hair (it's cut short) My sister hair always looks good when she comes back. Try Ba'sheba...if u rock a short cut, I've never been to her but my sister hair still looks good even when just a treatment and wash/conditioner and curl...? “We went to the Brooks Brothers store on Connecticut Avenue NW in Washington DC to purchase a blazer jacket for me. The Store Associate, Ms. Pari Hassani guided us and she was absolutely fantastic, a presence alongside us (my wife and I) second to none when it came to chosing my jacket. No pressure whatsoever, but it was one the best experience we ever had in a Brooks Brothers store, even though we have been a patron for over 40 years. “What can I say about Brooks Brothers? Since there was a little girl my father was confined to a wheelchair. He was raised in Manhattan and had a very particular and peculiar way of thinking and dressing. He was very frugal but all his clothes came from Brooks Brothers be it his pajamas to his socks. When the shop in Chevy Chase opened my father was so happy. I would drive him there about once every two or three years. And he would stock up on his pajamas and other small items. He really had to buy new clothes because as I said he wasn't a wheelchair and not particularly active. But always appropriately dressed. One of my best stories about Brooks Brothers is as my father aged he developed more and more idiosyncrasies probably because he was confined to a wheelchair. One of his fears was when he was in a vehicle being driven by someone else he was terrified of making left hand turns. So I mapped out a way to get from our house, about 2 miles at most from Brooks Brothers making only right hand turns. And then I had to map out a way to come home using only right hand turns. It was an adventure but it's soothed his soul.”

“Excellent customer service! We were in need of ballet shoes and tights for an MSA performance. I called ahead and the staff person was cordial and confirmed size availability. We arrived right before closing but were greeted respectfully and kindly. Our items were already waiting for us at the register but Meagan recommended that we confirm sizing. She was super kind and patient. She ensured that we had the right items and that my child was comfortable with the shoes. We walked out of the store and my children remarked on such a great customer experience. I will be sure to patron this business and recommend them to others.”
