“This is a great place to get the harder to find eastern hemisphere produce like exotic fruits and very specific pastries. I'm not a huge fan of the food court area, but the offerings are decent. The smell of fish hits in you in the face the moment you walk in. I don't find it very pleasant personally, but if you're anticipating that odor, it is not as jarring.”

I've been in the gym every day this month (October), sans Sundays.That being said......Weis was always my pit stop on the way to work for one thing: DONUUUUUUUUUTS!!!!I really don't have much to say about the store as a grocery store because it's pretty much what you would expect.But those DONUUUUUUUUTS!!! Lord save me...These are the best donuts I've ever had at a grocery store.Which is why I brought up Point #2. It's the last place I should be if I'm trying to lose weight. Hey, don't judge me. Mind your own bathroom scale.The assortment is great and they are ridiculously flavorful. Soft. Flaky. Huge.I could eat them all day! Sometimes the guy at the register gets noisy and looks at my balance in my card and comments on it. “I really like Dollar General for quick stops for medicine and snacks. Prices are better here than at grocery stores. I'm finding soda and candy prices to be high lately. I did not find prices here to be lower on those items at all with the exception of the dollar candy selection. Lots of choices are available and you can find almost any candy you are looking for. This is a great place for stocking up in those cold winter months on soup, vegetables and baking items. Shop early for Thanksgiving to save the most money. I enjoyed my shopping today. The temperature inside is usually too hot for me cutting my trip short but was comfortable on this day. Friendly service and smiles from Julie concluded my time here. Thank's for providing convenient, close, low cost items to local shopper's. Check out the dollar isle for some National brands at great prices!”

“I get very picky with Korean food because I know what authentic Korean food tastes like. Having said that, Sogongdong@Frederick is equal if not better than many Korean restaurants in Korea serving tofu soup. In fact any dish Sogongdong House serves (eg bibimbab or japchae) tastes authentic- so you can choose with confidence.Pricing is really competitive, since I don't have to go back Korea to taste home food hehe. At this price it is a no-brainer for quality food. So when I get tired of the local food with simple x-y axis of sweet and salty as the only dimensions of flavor, I come here to do a palate indulgence and remind myself of the depth of flavor I am capable of appreciating. Seafood tofu soup is amazing. If I don't pay attention I end up sipping the soup and cross my eyes to stare into the abyss of warmth that my soul envelops around. Service is great- you can walk over to the stall and ask for a bit more kimchi and they will gladly top it up. Ambience is very casual as it is a food court, great for in-promptu family dinner and the kids are hugely entertained by a korean stationery store and robo-picker games. It also helps that there is sushi, fried chicken and dumplings from other stalls as well, making this place a one-stop world-cuisine.”

“I have been shopping weekly at this Mennonite market since they opened. The deli is clean and the prices are great. Several kinds of ham, cheese, roast beef, pepperoni, bologna, as well as Swiss, pepper jack, American etc. Everything is fresh and sliced to order. Mennonite staff is friendly, and helpful. I do wonder where other reviewers were shopping. Keep in mind this is a different culture. The market also has a large selection of herbs & spices. Delicious snack foods in small quantities. Oh!! the homemade potato chips. Also, milk, eggs, fresh peanut butter and fresh in season fruits and vegetables. I have never purchased the baked goods (I bake my own). They do sell everything you would need to bake your own goodies as well. This is a wonderful small business.”
