He excels at matching a client’s budget with a choice of wine and champagne appropriate to the occasion. My daughter, Airlie, and her husband, Nicholas, from Chamonix, France, as well as her mother-in-law, were extremely impressed with his knowledge of champagne from the region, while still offering competitive price ranges. Hands down, Amos is my go-to person for a variety of social occasions!”

“We called the store a week before an event looking to make a bulk order, the owner Max was supper attentive to our needs and worked with us to calculate a recommended quantity and local variety for our crowd size and type of drinkers. Bonus is that he had it ready in a clean stack for my husband to pick up the day before our event. This is a great example of a welcoming and exemplary small business in DC.
P.S. they take returns for boxes of beers etc. that are unopened, not that we had any to return, but this is a really a good quality to look for in a spirits store. Thanks for all your help!!”

There is security posted at the door due to high theft in the area, but don’t let that deter you—this place has a fantastic selection of wine, beer, and alcohol. I’m really impressed by how extensive their variety is, especially for a smaller, local store.
