From what Frank talked about during the seminar and a long chat after the seminar, we evaluated Frank's experience and expertise which he cultivated over decades. Such made us move forward with our project, replacing flooring at the foyer and connected family room, which was on our radar for a long time. Honestly, we could not find a company or a person whom we could fully trust for a long time. Frank came to our house at least four times for consultation, with samples, to talk about details, w/o any charge. He also gave us additional information, such as how we need to take care of our newly installed flooring, etc. Frank was very responsive all the time. The installation process was smooth; the installers were professional and friendly; the leader, Walter, was guiding us with how the installation works, etc. We are very happy to see the outcome! “We just had a fantastic experience doing a complete renovation of our kitchen with KBD. We were looking for a design and build firm where we could get design services, help choosing kitchen features, and a quality build under one roof. We found that and more at KBD. Ron, the owner was wonderful to work with. He gave us a great overview of the design process at KBD, showed us the many options we would have. He made sure we knew that he was available for questions or help. Ron worked at our pace, even when working through our design decisions pushed the construction start date back.
As we experienced, Ron has put together a wonderful team. Rick, who designed the layout of our kitchen, listened as we worked through what we were looking for and came up with several creative design options that made our small kitchen seem big with ample storage and lots of counterspace. Olga, the wonderful designer we worked with, helped us turn our vague ideas into a beautiful kitchen. With her artistic talent and expertise, she guided us through the process of choosing every feature in our kitchen. She was very patient with the time it took us to make decisions. We never felt rushed. Thanks to Olga everything goes together beautify.
Great materials will only look as good as the quality of the build. KBD excels in this aspect as well. Mark, the project manager made sure everything ran smoothly and saw potential problems before they happen and solved them. Mark came by throughout the build and was always available for questions.
Tony and Walter were the talented team that built our kitchen. The quality of their craftsmanship was excellent down to every detail. The demolition, cabinet build, flooring, painting and all of the many other details were done with the highest level of skill resulting in a beautiful kitchen. Mark did an excellent job on our glass tile. At the end of every work day, the whole area was perfectly clean. There are other people from KBD whose work went into giving us the beautiful results we are enjoying in our kitchen but I think this review would run too long to name them all.
In summary, everyone we delt with at KBD were nice people and excellent at what they do. Google only lets you give five stars or I would give more.”

“I was recommended to Wellman from a friend of mine who used them for several projects. After meeting with Sharifa, I felt that I found a long lost friend. I came with a picture frame that I wanted to use for my kitchen cabinets. She immediately showed me the color and style that fit perfectly. Then I explained my vision about a hint of color. When we went to the backsplash area I located a very unusual design. Once we had that all set, Sharifa showed me a counter top that brought all the colors together as well as the hardware. We used several different styles for the cabinet doors, the pantry doors, and the drawers. We changed up the sink to one sink instead of two with a gorgeous brass faucet. Sadly, we couldn't use the ceiling fixtures I wanted because we didn't realize the ceiling was concrete and we could only use one fixture. Couldn't break open the ceiling as that would not have passed the condo requirements. Every afternoon, when the work crew left, they cleaned up and swept the area they were working on. You would have never known I was remodeling my kitchen. The general contractor, was Duane, the husband of Sharifa. I so appreciated this was a small business and family owned. I truly enjoyed working with everyone in their entire team.”

“We used Exis General Contracting to remodel our newly purchased home. Exis was referred to us by family and friends. We had a great experience working with Owner, Peter Exis, Tameka, Office Administrator, and their Crew, lead by Giovanni, a skilled carpenter and project lead.

They made it easy to do business and the results were spectacular, they transformed our home into our dream home. Peter worked around our budget along the way and provided us with recommendations and solutions to meet both our vision and budget. We did not hire a designer, however working with Peter, who is also an artist, to design our kitchen and bathrooms was extremely helpful. The crew, lead by Giovanni, were great, respectful, patient with us, and had a great attention to details. The craftsmanship was on point and exactly what we envisioned.

The total cost was extremely reasonable for the scope of work we had done, which included, but not limited to; refinishing the hardwood floors throughout our home, two wall removals to open up our kitchen and foyer areas, refurbishing and refinishing our staircase with new balusters and knoll posts, four bathroom remodel (including our master bathroom), refurbishing and painting the basement bar, expanded kitchen remodel, and painting of all walls, doors (with new hardware replacement), trim, and all shutter blinds.

We were extremely satisfied with Exis General Contracting and will definitely continue to refer them to family and friends.”

“We’ve had to replace several appliances in our home over the past year, and it was an unpleasant experience with every store we tried — Best Buy, Bray & Scarff, and Costco — . There were defective appliances, poor install and poor service when the appliance had an issue. Our most recent purchase of a dishwasher at ABW was the exception. Our salesperson Prayer was fantastic, and the service was outstanding in every way. Prayer was knowledgeable and informative but not pushy.

Something people don’t always consider when buying appliances is the install process and who will handle service if something goes wrong. The service technicians at ABW are extremely knowledgeable, respectful of your time and home, and the entire process is well-organized from start to finish. The delivery team stayed and tested our dishwasher and were not rushed to leave even though we were their last delivery. This is in marked contrast to our other deliveries. The service guys are also fantastic. The ABW team truly aims to help you with everything. I only wish I had found them sooner.”
