“This is a perfect place to hang with friends in a Saturday night. The staff is great and three place is very cleanly. There is a decent food and drink selection that's reasonably priced. We stayed for rock and bowl and it was a blast! Highly recommend a visit for some fun with friends!”

“Went here for a Soca Wine festival. It was great. Been here before and I think the grounds and layout is very good, kept neat, and spacious for these type of events. It wasn't a large turnout due to the weather, but they accommodated the crowd very well with having the main performances kept under their large pavilion. We all were pretty much able to set up under there to watch the performances. Also, when there was a notice of severe weather pending, they had us shelter in place in a nearby large structure. It had more than enough room for all of us and the fire and police crew on site kept us continuously informed and safe letting us know quickly when we could resume the festivities. Bathrooms on-site were clean and efficient too. All in all, a very good location for the event.”

“Just like any American Legion, you can only get in if you are a member or are a guest of one. Accepts cash only, no credit card but does have an ATM on the premises. I think most have limited food menus. Full bar with beers on tap and bottled beer. Very nice and friendly atmosphere. Occasionally, has live music on the weekends. Alcohol is very reasonably priced.”
“It was my first time there on 6-24-23. Good fight night at the Patapsco Arena. You will be up close, right in the action. Not a bad seat int he house. The crowd was lit, had good energy, and excitement as they cheered for their favorite boxer. And those ring girls! Somebody call the fire department to bring them a trench coat. Lol! Cool place tho.”

“We used this space for an educational seminar.The staff was kind and helpful when we met to sign the paperwork. They met me at the space and walked me around. Great location with many catering options nearby. Mid seminar my husband even got a smoothie from smoothie king. The whole class had Panera from 1 min up the road. They helped with tables and chairs and even banner poles.Convenient, clean, and comfortable place that allows for social distancing. Very happy with my experience.”

If I had any complaints it was that the ice machine was gone on my floor and I had to go track one down.
Check your receipt to when you park because sometimes their automated system gets screwed up and you may be double charged.”

“I mean I hope you set your expectations correctly here. A government owned hotel. I was impressed with the room, had everything I needed, however didn't seem the cleanest overall.
Service was 10/10 at night, morning service was....physically there but not the most helpful at all. Probably 6/10 in the morning just not really engaging with my questions and getting distracted on their phone while I was standing there.”

“We had our wedding in the ballroom. Very scenic and beautiful venue! Overall a pretty good venue that includes food, tables, chairs, linens, etc. The ballroom house itself is beautiful with lots of light indoors due to the large windows, and a nice deck for an outside ceremony. Zoe communicated with us and answered all our questions and did our tasting and planning, until a week before the actual day where we were assigned a day of venue coordinator.
I found this system to be not great, since the venue coordinator was essentially a stranger that you've never talked to at all, and you basically have to re explain everything you want. Even though they have an online planning tool (which is old and outdated), I found that they got our aisle directions wrong, the reception layout wrong, and our dinner meals were wrong. Thankfully, we had a separate planner that was able to correct these things, so I HIGHLY recommend getting an outside coordinator that works directly with you if you have room in the budget.
Another thing was our limited setup time of 1.5 hours meaning the florist and other vendors couldn't set up earlier with more elaborate decorations and had to do something simple. I found out that this is because they had another wedding at the same place before ours (literally ending at 4) and so they rush to get the place cleaned for the evening wedding. The main room and the suit was renovated, but the bathrooms were all still dingy and not the best/cleanest to use.
The food was good though, better than we had at our tasting and they got it out fast. Our vendors were fed the same food, and our guests thought it was pretty good wedding food.
Apart from the couple hiccups we had, we thought the venue was great overall and really beautiful and we don't regret having our wedding there at all. It could be a little bit better in the small details for the price though.”
