“First time at this place and I am honestly so glad to have stumbled in! The two workers were so helpful I am so grateful! More specifically the woman who helped me, I hate that I forgot her name! She was so helped and gave such useful information about the best food to feed my cats! I have two cats, one is picky and one isn’t! she helped me understand my picky cat better and just gave such useful advice! she has 7 cats so she knows what she’s talking about! you don’t really get real connections in stores anymore but today I did! such a good place will be back!!

“Immaculately clean and really nice set ups for betta fish. The shop dog Mellow was a very good girl! 4 stars only because it is very small and selection is quite limited. I imagine they rotate stock quite often. I’ll be back to check out what’s new soon!”

“Andrea is great. She does an amazing grooming job, the cut is very symmetrical, nails and ears are well trimmed. I also like the fact that the grooming space is open so if you ever need to wait, you can take a peek at your dog and it also builds a transparent environment. I am glad we found this place!”

I stopped in a while ago while we were just window shopping, and again today for binoculars. Each time I was greeted by helpful people who were knowledgeable and welcoming. I highly recommend this store for excellent service and selection!”

The staff are all friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable. Whether you are encouraging birds or discouraging squirrels or the opposite, they've got a product for you.”
“Conveniently located but it goes beyond that. My wife and I were fostering a dog, I came here with a few questions. The gentleman behind the counter came around and showed me options for a teething puppy. He was very friendly, didn't try to hard push anything, and seemed to actually care by asking questions and engaging with me. Was very nice to experience because you don't find this in many places these days. Will be back

“While visiting College Park Farmer’s Market, I stumbled upon Barbie’s Doggie Bakery. Initially, the cute packaging and stand peaked my interest. However, Barbie was quick to ask me regarding my dogs, she explained how her products only had four safe ingredients. She was awesome to speak with, and answered all my questions. I got some samples today, but will definitely be back next week!!”

I just moved into the area and very pleased to find familiar healthy pet food options :) I didn't find Just Food for Dogs and the Polkadog chicken strips though. My pups go crazy for those. Haven't tried the grooming here so this is just about the food and store.”

“I brought my 12 year old Cockapoo to be groomed here - we had an excellent experience. He has anxiety and can be very difficult with hair cuts. Nicole was his groomer, she was patient with him and took the time he needed to have a great haircut. So happy to have found Elysiem.”
“I take my dog here to get her nails clipped. She is terrified of getting them done and because of that, I cannot do them myself. Charlie takes such great care of my girl and gets the job done quickly and professionally. I wouldn't go anywhere else.”

“Decent size pet store with a large food, treat, toy, and pet supply selection. My wife and I frequent this place because they sell the dog food that our dogs eat. It is on the healthier side of food for dogs, so you can’t just find it at a PetSmart or grocery store. That being said, most of the treats and foods you’ll find here are all a bit more healthy and/or organic in comparison to most food for animals. It’s decently priced too!
I haven’t used their grooming services but they do offer those and there’s also a bath/big sink that you can use to wash your dog for about $20 (I think). Other than that, it’s a nice store with a friendly staff and it always has some kind of sale going on - works for my pups, so it works for me!”
“Being a novice or expert this store has for all. My husband and myself being new to birds came to the right place. The young gentleman I wish we could remember his name but we walked in with a welcome and please ask all the questions you like. We had so many and he took his time explaining each bird we liked and found us the perfect fit for our family. We walked out knowing we had all we need to make her feel at home and the knowledge to take care of her. We love her so much and found our store. Thank you”
“Came in the store with my kitten a couple of days ago. As a first time owner I needed help and the best advice for food and supplies. I was lucky to find Bryan who was very kind and helpful and told me what I needed to get and gave me important information about taking care of my kitten. I will definitely be coming back!”
