“After a long day of Nasty attitudes at every pet appointment of the day I decided to get my pup a bone. When I tell you Pets Are Home was the Rainbow at the end of a storm. From the cleanliness to the staff being so helpful there’s absolutely nothing to complain about, let’s not forget the pricing being very reasonable. As I’ve gone other places and asked for help with certain things they’ve rudely told me to Google; not here though.
The owner was so kind to both me and my pup And helpful with all questions and also gave suggestions and gifted a few sample products. Thank you guys keep up the great work! Small business big heart!”

“It was a GREAT to experience the Super Pet Expo this past weekend 8/28/20-8/30/2020.The event was superbly run. The crowd, vendors and workers were enthusiastic and energetic.All health protocols were followed. There was great entertainment for pets, kids and adults.The producer of the event Eric, was always present making guests, vendors and especially pets feel welcome and safe.Special thanks to the clean up crew responding to pet’s accidents. “The nicest shelter I've ever seen! I volunteer here and am constantly amazed at how unbelievably clean and well-maintained it is for the animals! The animals are treated like royalty, even though they might not feel like royalty, since they are in a new, loud environment. But I can assure you they are extremely well cared for: a very tough feat when you have hundreds of animals at any given time. This is a tight-run ship and the county does a great job here.
The adoption side of the building is very welcoming, clean, and staff are always helpful. I can't speak to the animal service side of the bldg, but I can't imagine it being much different. That side has a walk-in "pantry" where county residents can get free pet stuff (food, gear) any time. You just walk in.
The adoption side has a number of weeks during the year where there is no fee to adopt! Most dogs at the shelter are larger ones. There's a "small dog room" and those dogs tend to get adopted quickly.
Please adopt, don't shop! There are so many fantastic animals here and they all need homes.
Just FYI: If you come to browse adoptable dogs, there's no way to have 100's of dogs in an area and it NOT smell like dogs, or have lots of barking noise.

“I'm not sure how it happened, but I've become a bird enthusiast. The Backyard Bird Feeder has a wide selection of feeders, seeds, suet cakes, and accessories to encourage my hobby. The staff are all friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable. Whether you are encouraging birds or discouraging squirrels or the opposite, they've got a product for you.”

“Super cute and friendly place! Lots of good food options. I just moved into the area and very pleased to find familiar healthy pet food options :) I didn't find Just Food for Dogs and the Polkadog chicken strips though. My pups go crazy for those. Haven't tried the grooming here so this is just about the food and store.”
“Andrea is great. She does an amazing grooming job, the cut is very symmetrical, nails and ears are well trimmed. I also like the fact that the grooming space is open so if you ever need to wait, you can take a peek at your dog and it also builds a transparent environment. I am glad we found this place!”
“I stopped in yesterday to pick up my dog after the grooming and she looked GREAT! I told the front desk lady the cut I wanted and my dog returned with exactly that, even though there was some matting. My little Cavapoo, Lucky, loves it there! Great store and great people. “Lots of variety of birds!!! Everyone is in good shape. I have one cockatiel at home and i know how hard it is to keep everything clean and dust free. Cant believe people here actually complain about the smell.Its a lot of work to take care of more than 50 birds in here.Your doing a great job! Keep up the good work”

The young gentleman I wish we could remember his name but we walked in with a welcome and please ask all the questions you like. We had so many and he took his time explaining each bird we liked and found us the perfect fit for our family. We walked out knowing we had all we need to make her feel at home and the knowledge to take care of her. We love her so much and found our store. Thank you”

“Decent size pet store with a large food, treat, toy, and pet supply selection. My wife and I frequent this place because they sell the dog food that our dogs eat. It is on the healthier side of food for dogs, so you can’t just find it at a PetSmart or grocery store. That being said, most of the treats and foods you’ll find here are all a bit more healthy and/or organic in comparison to most food for animals. It’s decently priced too!
I haven’t used their grooming services but they do offer those and there’s also a bath/big sink that you can use to wash your dog for about $20 (I think). Other than that, it’s a nice store with a friendly staff and it always has some kind of sale going on - works for my pups, so it works for me!”
“Shea, our 9 mo. G.S, just got back from PetSmart grooming. WOW! We have been going here for a while with other pets and it’s always been good; this time was GREAT. Carla made our dog look incredible, with just a wash and brush. Plus, Shea is still a pup and very crazy and that did not bother them in the least. Thank you Carla and the rest of the grooming staff- great job!!!!”
“Most of the time they have what I need. Sometimes it's hard to find someone to help you. It's almost like when you goto Home Depot and you need someone to help you but no ones anywhere to be found and you spend what feels like hours trying to find someone to help.... Which is very annoying but that's not really Petco's fault. It's the people who work there and Petco is just short handed ... So you just gotta take the good with the bad sometimes...”
“The vet was amazing as were the vet techs. My only minor complaint was the wait to check in but I totally understood why once I got up to check in and all my questions were answered thoughtfully and throughly.”
