βHelpful staff at this TJs location and always well-staffed at the checkouts, so even when there is a line it moves quickly. Free underground parking and a bike rack inside the parking garage (to the right of the entrance).β

βWe chanced upon this store while visiting someone in the area. It was Sunday just before lunch but this store was hopping busy. We were lucky to find a parking spot because there were a number of cars coming into the lot. It is a small store compared to the ones in Houston but it is every bit as good. They had a large variety of items. We were looking for flowers and a small cake. They had a good selection of fresh flowers. We were looking for a small cake for someoneβs birthday. They didnβt have any so we bought a Banana Walnut bread which was yummy according to the recipient. This was a quick stop for us but it gave us a good glimpse of the store. We interacted with a couple of employees who were very helpful and cordial.β
βWhere do I begin?? Amazingly eye-catching! I really appreciate finding jewels like this in the community.
Food co-op Glut is a MUST VISIT!!!
I went to ACTUALLY buy just sugar, and was overwhelmed (in a good way, like a kid in a candy store) with options!
Prices are absolutely reasonable. I buy organic raw cane in the grocery store all the time, and I know a deal when I come across it!
On my next visit to Glut, I'll remember to bring my basket & containers for my bought supplies.
Next time you're in northeast DC to southwest MD check it out! You won't be disappointed!!β

βI love wandering around in Rice Market - it feels like entering another world, with an incredibly comprehensive and fun selection of beautifully arranged food and home products. I work nearby and come for the hot prepared grab-and-go food, which tastes more like grandma's cooking than a restaurant. In cold weather, the outside terrace is empty, so you can enjoy delicious hot food in the refreshing cold and people watch for 10-15 minutes.β
βAlready an amazing Trader Joeβs, but today on a busy Sunday Laj was absolutely fantastic. She genuinely connected with me during my check out while also packing my items so carefully but quickly. Truly made my Sundayβ

βVery good small supermarket, with fresh produce and lots of Latin American products. The papaya there was the best Iβve ever had in DC. Letβs support these small stores that make DC streets more interesting!β
βThe customer service here rocks!! Everyone is so attentive, helpful and knowledgeable - it's like they live and breathe Mom's mission, which doesn't happen often in a grocery store chain. Their product is always stocked, and organized. I never leave without anything I needed. 5 stars for Mom's on NY Ave!β
βOnly place in the area I've been able to find tamarind sauce (specifically sauce, not chutney)! Wish I'd checked here before ordering some from the UK. Helpful and polite staff. Small store but good selection, especially of spices and dried fruits. I wasn't buying meat so I can't comment on that.β
βThis location seems to offer a good balance between location, ambiance and service. Parking was plentiful, employees were pleasant and helpful, inventory was clean and fresh. I went there to use the Amazon return desk and ended up staying to enjoy the totally wonderful eclectic marketplace.β

βI love Aldiβs ! I especially love the ones far out Va or Maryland because itβs fresher and cheaper in my opinion. The ones in dc are a bit ran through, also the ones in other parts of Maryland, so i suggest you really read reviews and check starsβ

βMy first time ever shopping at a Lidl. In my area of NY there are Aldi. Lidl has the same kind of set up but, they have a bakery and flower section. Their croissants are BUTTERY DELICIOUSNESS and the cost can not be beat ($.49)!! I bought two dozen of them to take home with me. Prices are exceptional, not only in the bakery. Their specialty area really have some quality appliances at great prices. My next trip back to Maryland, I will make sure to bring back more of those croissants....lolβ
βThis Whole Foods upholds its reputation of being clean, with great produce, and friendly service. Plenty of parking in the garage. Some products I don't see at other Whole Foods locations is a plus.
Still some things I didn't find. I was looking for Injera chips, fresh spearmint, and a bunch of beets. None of this was available which was disappointing since I usually pick those items up at the Riverdale, MD location. Nonetheless, I found everything else and enjoyed my trip overall.β

βI think this is the only place in US where you can get out with basic groceries in hand (milk, bread, some veggies) with bill under 10$. I appreciate the Aldi store chain for that. ?
And, they have pretty much everything you need for daily use.
On the otherhand, I dont mind paying 25 cents for cart but who keeps the coins with them in this mostly cashless Economy.β
βI used to love this place, but the prices are through the roof. Still, some items are cheaper than buying on Amazon. It still provides dairy products that are NOT offered anywhere else, and is a cut above other health food stores. But too many times the items I go there to get are sold out. We rely on it for dairy. Has lots of pasture raised products. Two bags of groceries can easily run $200.β

βFirst time in here and I must say they have some of the best customer service I had in a long time at a store like this one .. clean.. and great workers that greet you of love and respect this is a place you must tryβ
βI am just reviewing the food. It was really nice. The servers don't really speak English but I was able to point and gesticulate what I thought looked nice. The shrimp in the creamy soup was delicious and so was the rice and plantains. I went back twice. It was 16.25 for a very large serve of food. I had some leftover for dinner. If you're looking for great takeout, come here.β
βThis is my go-to grocery store! The produce is always fresh and the prices are incredibly affordable. I love the variety of cheeses and bakery items they offer. The store is well-organized, making it easy to find everything on my list. Highly recommend for high-quality items at a great value !β
βThe traffic around this Trader Joe's is very busy and can get congested. Surprisingly though the inside of the store is much more spacious than the other stores I've been to in DC. Products are consistent and always in stock.β

βThis was one of my favorite spots pre covid. It's still nice, but it's lost some of it's appeal and luster.
I loved the poke bowls and crunchy shrimp roll, they nolonger have those. I used to love the soda machine making my own flavors like peach and raspberry sprite and cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper, or just lemon dasani.
They were the best, now they are just ok. The grocery part of the store, is still awesome. They have a lot of asian ingredients things I can't find anywhere else. And I love their fresh pressed juices, especially fugi apple juice. The basting oil is an essential component to my cooking in my kitchen. It pairs so well with seafood.
Gotta love Wegman'sβ
βAlways great customer service. They consistently have a good stock of new and popular products. Never had to worry about lower grade or fake vapes coming here, like other shops around here.β
βThe workers, doing the assigned Job took care to servicing the customers, per individuals. Some were unhappy workers taking on the demand of both the customers and the assigned manager or boss. Some workers left due to their work schedule and much added pressure. Service with a smile could have many reasons.β
