“Visited this Annapolis Latino market for the first time while searching for Oaxaca cheese and was really impressed. The store was very clean and well stocked with a great selection of Spanish and cultural foods. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was very welcoming and showed me their corn tortilla press used to make fresh tortillas daily.
I left with a stack of tortillas and used them for dinner that night. You could immediately tell they were fresh and made with quality ingredients. I will definitely be back and highly recommend checking this place out”

“Dani is an absolute gem. This was the most last-minute birthday balloon situation, and she dove right in with such grace, joy, and creativity that I was honestly blown away.
I gave her the theme and she completely ran with it. The result looked thoughtful, elevated, and beautifully styled. You would never guess it was a rush order. It felt intentional and special, like she had been planning it for weeks. She is a true artist and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does.
Her energy is so warm and welcoming. She made the entire process easy and fun instead of stressful, which every mom planning a party deeply appreciates. Tiffany was also incredibly helpful and kind. The two of them together are such a bright spot.
If you are anywhere near Annapolis or Edgewater, go to the Giant in Edgewater and ask for Dani. Even if you do not live nearby, she is worth the drive. Truly exceptional customer service and talent. I am so grateful.”

“Had to go grocery shopping early in the morning and much to my surprise the staff Patrice, Tony (meat dept.), Andy, Mary and of course Chris (at deli) made my shopping pleasant. I never shop in the morning thinking staff will be not so in a good mood but these folks above was very helpful and have a big smiles on their faces. Wonderful staff. I will start shopping in the morning from now on! Great staff! Thanks!!!!”

“Decent store with friendly, helpful staff. They get an A+, but... not a great selection on a Saturday night, however, for flyer items. Also, there are still those horrible scales at the self-checkout bagging platform. And it was the only option on a Saturday evening for checkout. These scales are so sensitive that you can barely scan one item without the electronic "her" barking at you to "Put your item in the bagging area." It's particularly difficult if you use your own bags. We did, and "she" still shut us down each time. I really feel sorry for the staff who have to deal with this every shift. I like having Weis in town (former PA resident), but please fix or scrap the scales! They are too frustrating to make it worth shopping here.”

“They got new staff that are extremely kind. I encountered people stocking the shelves who helped me, the cashier helped me and the manager came and took care of and issue. (They took the time to help me get my app working when there was an issue between phone numbers). The prices are good but the customer service was superb.”

“Got tired of Giant's self-service computers yelling at me so I've made the switch. It was a joy to scan my items without being subjected to constant computer errors and cranky cashiers. I save as much with the Safeway card as i did with the Giant card. Store is clean and food quality is good. Parking lot is small and a bit messy but i always get a space.”

“THE GOOD-prefer this store over many alternatives for efficient shopping and fair pricing for staples and basics. The staff has always been very helpful and have pleasant attitudes and friendly customer interactions. It would be nice if there were smaller push carts to shop with. Here there are only the gigantic ones offered. THE BAD - The food selection could use some tweaks. Vegetable and fruit selections are limited and uninspired. There is too much floor space and the fixtures don't enhance the merchandise. Many brands offer low salt, reduced fat, options but this store is not on top of it. Recently the direction seems to have changed and not for the good. Half of an aisle of frozen food was turned over to assorted pizza. There is no need for 15 feet of pizza options. There is never anyone who is in the deli capable or willing to custom slice meats or cheese so one must purchase from their limited selection of pre-sliced meats and cheese. God forbid if you want a half or quarter pound of something only packed in 1 lb portions. BOTTOM LINE- what's going on here ? Is it management or corporate that's the issue?”
“I left my wallet at Dollar general on hillsmere avenue in Annapolis, Maryland.. I had quite a bit of money in that wallet and the staff. Wayne. Saw my wallet held it in the office and when I called they said it was there for me to pick up. My wallet still had all the money in it as well as all my credentials.. TOP NOTCH STAFF MEMBER WAYNE IS A GOOD MAN .THANK YOU”

“I grew up on Atwell Rd used to come here with my great grandmother my mother we grew up around the store the coleslaw and the customer service was awesome we were there 4weeks ago and it’s still the same just like family If you’re ever in Shady side stop by Shady side market get some of those freshly made sandwiches they are off the hook also”
