On a daily basis they carry the best salad on the island, made with crunchy fresh lettuce (none of that wilty field greens stuff). “After a Failed attempt to get a Bucket of Fried Chicken at KFC,it was a disaster so I left without Food,I remembered someone telling me the Shore stop on Main St. Kent Island so I decided to go there,I was skeptical because it’s a Convenient Store/Gas station and I thought how good can their Chicken be,so I ordered a 10 Piece Assortment of Chicken and Rolls and the Girl who works the Kitchen her Name is Gigi,she served my Dinner up with a Smile and a nice conversation. The Shore stop did not disappoint me,Gigi Cooked me up a Fresh Batch of Chicken because they were low in the display case,the Fried Chicken was Fresh,Piping hot,crispy and very Juicy and a Bargain because I got a 10 Piece and sides less then 20.00 The shore stop will forever get my business and will not buy Fried Chicken any where else. Go in give the Fried Chicken a try and let Gigi serve you up a Friendly Smile and nice Conversation. If I could give 20 Stars I would, Now I know why everyone says the Shore Stop on Main St. has the best Fried Chicken on the Eastern Shore ?”

“I used to fly into the adjacent airport for crab cakes here, but we stopped off on a recent road trip, right before closing, with three children (aka, we were high maintenance customers), and Matt and Gus could not have been any nicer or more helpful. This is an upscale convenience store, but with a world-class deli in it. The crab cakes are solid as ever, and the other food is as good as any that you'll get in the area. They were patient with the kids ordering, and helpfully packaged some of the food that the kids couldn't eat just then so that it survived the rest of our trip, and all of it was fantastic. The only thing that I miss is the local (Chesapeake) Ice Cream that they used to sell (which I believe is not made anymore, so this is not on them!) HIGHLY recommended as a stopover when you next cross the Bay Bridge. (Very easy on/off, as well.)”
“Honestly, I can't recommend Friendly's enough! It's some of the best food on the island. My boyfriend and I eat here almost weekly (sometimes even more frequently, ha!) and every meal is always a hit! While we usually go for the Indian offerings (the Saag Paneer is spectacular!), there is definitely something for everyone available! Plus the prices really can't be beat. The staff is always incredibly personable, and the gas prices are the best around. Truly, Friendly's is an all-around gem and I'm so happy they are here!”
