Red Roof PLUS+ Baltimore North is an older, budget-friendly motel in a convenient location. It is noted for being very close to the fairgrounds and offering good access to Baltimore, Cockeysville, and Towson, with a safe and orderly atmosphere. The location is right off the highway and is considered an all-around good deal for the price. However, the property is very run down and could use an update. Issues include a long-broken elevator, pest problems like flies and beetles, and rooms that appear worn. Specific complaints mention gross shower curtains, faulty outlets, a stuck TV volume, and a filthy AC filter. Some guests encountered homeless people outside and smelled weed from other rooms. The pillows are frequently described as terrible. While the parking lot is illuminated and some staff are friendly or cool, other front desk interactions are reported as inattentive. The floor and bathroom sink in some rooms appear updated, and the shower has hot water with good pressure. It may work for those on a tight budget, but many state they would not stay again.
Celing is peeling, tub has black mold in it and the room smelld like a cats litter box for 10 dollars more, go to the extended stay

Car was smashed into by a “long term” guest and nearly totalled while parked. Hit n run. Loud guests. One special guest threatened me while I picked up pieces of my smashed car. Trashy rear of building. Next to noisy highway and busy road. Service was good and provided security footage of hit n run.

The room are clean. Bed are comfortable. Towels clean and soft. The staff is friendly.
