“GREAT STAFF!!! My aunt came here to shop with her card. Upon her purchase she left her card at the place. Well three weeks go by and my aunt comes back to Michaels to get her card. Around 3:00 yesterday, one of the staff members effortlessly retrieved it to her. Their staff is trustworthy and competent and I don't know their name, but the black woman with glasses deserves a promotion! If you're missing your bank card, check Michaels! They might just have it.”

“I visited Collector's Corner with some fellow nerdy friends recently. We were impressed by the selection, and even more impressed that the store carried some traditionally "girly" collectibles and memorabilia (though most was Sailor Moon), as we (women, in our case) are generally very poorly-represented in the collecting and action figure world. The only downside I found is as an ambulatory wheelchair user, there was no possible way I could have navigated through the store with my wheelchair. I had to make do with my cane, which was difficult on my body. The store also has narrow stairs that go down to a basement level, which I found difficult with my conditions. The owner appears to care very much about his business and customers though, and the age of the building (narrow stairs, multiple floors) is not his fault. However, it would be my friendly suggestion to consider more thorough ADA accommodation in the future so as not to accidentally alienate that clientele.”

“Stopped in for their moving sale and kicking myself for not stopping in sooner! They have so many cool items from comic books and action figures to board games and collectible cards, even magic tricks and tarot. This is a great spot to bring the kids and browse around for awhile. They even have a space upstairs with a HUGE Lego city. Check them out before they move!”

“Pretty cool art supply store with fair prices. Nice to have helpful staff who are into art and knowledgeable. I love the artsy, counterculture decor both inside and out. Everything Michael's is not. There's a small discount for educators. Parking is down exterior stairs to the right of the entrance leading down the hill to a small parking lot under the bridge. I parked on the street around the corner.”

“Alex was a pleasure to work with on several visits. He took the time to explain the difference between coins with collector value vs those with precious metal values. His pricing was fair and the process couldn’t have been easier from appointment to sale. Highly recommend!”

“Nice selection, easy to get in and out, better prices than I’ve found elsewhere. I also appreciate their loyalty system, which has saved me a good chunk of change over the past year.”

“I really didn't want to part with my silver bullion coins that I've had for 25 years, but I needed the money. So today I went to American Bullion center to see Rick Davis. Rick looked over my coins for a few minutes and gave me a fair price for my coins. The process was quick, easy and painless. He really knows his stuff about coins from the US and all around the world. Whether you want to buy or sell coins, I highly recommend going to see Rick Davis at American Bullion Center.”

“These guys are fantastic! I brought in 3 McFarlane action figures that I had duplicates of, hoping to either trade or sell them to the store. They informed me that they don't specialize much in action figures, focusing mainly on sports cards and memorabilia, and suggested trying to sell online. I ended up choosing two more figures to purchase from the store, and when they found out I had driven 30 minutes to get there, they asked to see the figures again and made me an offer. I was thrilled and will definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend for sports memorabilia collectors.”

“I went to Certified Rarities after finding a gold coin on a parking lot. The money they offered me would’ve paid my mortgage for a year. The gentleman who appraised it then advised me to lock it up and hold onto it . I went there to see if it was real gold. It was .999 pure gold. After talking with them, I started buying gold and silver from APMEX. I trust them wholly.”

“Stepping into Michael's is always a magical experience. From the smell, the sights, the crunchy-sounding music. It is truly a multisensory experience. Where Michael's falls short is on pricing, unfortunately.”

“I love all the michaels around my area. The staff woman was very helpful, despite it being so early in the A.M. that me and my brother went in. There were 3 skeins of clearance yarn left. My crochet cape, scarf and hat. yarn loops & threads mixed up acrylic yarn, beacon blue color.”

“When I visited, this place was already dudded up for Halloween and it was early August! But the store looked gorgeous and appealing. I hadn't ever been to this Michael's location and didn't really need anything but shopped up and down the aisles. Things were neatly displayed and there weren't any merchandise holes that I saw. I didn't need any help so didn't have to engage any workers, which I guess was fortunate as I didn't see many employees. But, no issues for me.”

“They are a helpful bunch in here. Rc cars are a hobby of mine and they have helped me a bunch bringing it up to bar. They have a big selection from all ranges in the hobby. That is from crawler, bash, street, speed . Don't forget the planes and boats”

“Good store great sales staff, just not enough people working at once. Went there to get a PS5, had to wait way to long at checkout. The guy was bussing out people and on the phone helping with another customer Playstation support and all, but there wasn't anyone there to help him (poor guy). He was sweating n all ?? but other than that, good store up to date selection just needs more people in store. Hope next time their fully staffed.”

“Amazing staff and management. This store really works hard and im sure thats why its still a GameStop. Despite the crazy desire of people to relinquish their ownership by buying digital media as downloads, gamestop stores and discs rock.”

“Very pleased, great and friendly customer service shop, seems to be family run and perfectly sits next to a double tree hotel (I badly had to pee from my hour drive out from Gaithersburg in rush hour traffic.)I called the shop earlier in the day and spoke to Phil, he gave me a great initial impression, very friendly and told me they're on the 2nd floor of the quadrant and can be a bit difficult to find. He also advised a flood had occurred, they're still open and operational, but if the hallways look weird, don't be alarmed. LolI highly recommend doing a quick Google search on the map to see the general idea of where to go. Once parked at the double tree, simply walk to the left of the building, you'll see a sign for events meeting place and a sign for a radio station, go past the station for the 2nd door and you'll find a set of stairs. Once you go up the stairs, walk down the hall and it should be the first door on the right. Suite #215 The reason for my visit was to get a second opinion on my uncle's stamps. I received them about 20 years ago and they'd been sitting in bags in storage ever since. Trying to navigate eBay with coins or stamps is a whole nother ballpark and figured I should go to the best!As expected, the collection isn't really worth more than $25 for about the 2700 ish cancelled stamps. But it was nice to have Phil recognize that I was the one that called, treat the album well, and give me an honest answer. While I was at the shop, I believe his son, Victor walked in and apologized in regards to the album being of low value. We also had a great conversation on other collectibles, such as Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic, Sports cards, video games and the like. I've been searching for ages for a shop or at least someone willing to allow me to bring in the 3-4 monster boxes of sports cards I have. I got a firm "bring them in, we'll take a look". Today's venture wasn't just about getting an appraisal for my stamps, it was more about, where can I go for future guidance with collectibles. Compared to my recent visit with Maryland Stamps and Coins (Bethesda), Geezer's Tweezers is absolutely what I was looking for. I 1000% recommend this business and will be looking forward to my next visit! Thank you so much Phil and Victor for the pleasant experience!”
