“It's a BIG discount store, so some days are hit or miss with finding quality items.
It's usually organized well.
They usually have a good selection for small children.
They have a school uniform section.
I get plug in air freshener refills and expensive brand lotion for cheap out of here. The scents are limited most days though.
They no longer have a public restroom which is SUPER inconvenient. In a store like that where you can spend a while searching through clothes, a bathroom should be available. Especially for children. Not like it's an "in & out" kinda place.
I go here often. Prices are going to everywhere, even here. But it's still cheaper than the regular stores.”
“I recently visited the Kohl’s store in Ellicott City, and overall, I had a great shopping experience. The store was clean, well-lit, and organized, with clearly marked sections for women’s, men’s, kids’, and home goods. Everything was easy to find.
The staff was friendly and helpful. One associate even walked me over to the jeans section and helped me find the right size. They had a good variety of brands, including Levi’s and Sonoma. The fitting rooms were spacious and clean, though there was a short wait during peak hours.
One thing I really liked was the deals and discounts. I downloaded the Kohl’s app at the checkout counter and got an extra 20% off my total. Their return policy is also very flexible, which is great if something doesn’t fit.
The parking lot is large and generally safe, although it gets a bit crowded in evenings. If you're looking for quality clothing, shoes, or home decor at reasonable prices, Kohl’s is definitely worth checking out. I recommend downloading their app before you shop to take full advantage of 20% off, ongoing sales, and promotions.”

“The five guys closing crew on security blvd were amazing on Sunday May 26!! I came in at 953p and they greeted me with smiles and courtesy. I saw them work as a team to quicken my visit. They were extremely helpful with anything I needed. It was as if I hadn’t just walked in 7 mins before closing! They did not show any annoyance once so ever! The pregnant women stayed in the baby section while the other would bring her stuff to put in on her jacket. This happend 30-35 mi ago from this post !!! “UPDATE: Talked to customer service for Lifetouch Photography and JCPenny, the managers were SUPER helpful! They allowed me to schedule a reshoot which, by the way, was an EXTREMELY great experience with Austin! He was patient, kind, and gave direction for our family to look our best and feel comfortable. I appreciate the staff who were able to capture and retake the memories with our family. Thank you for your time and assistance with the matter. I give this review 4 stars since I would’ve liked the positive experience to have happened the first time we took photos other than that, I left the studio with a smile on my face and will continue to have my family photos taken at JCPenny! ?
Original Review: Been coming here for over 3 years and never had an issue until today!!! I just had a baby and wanted family portraits. My photographer, Summer, was rude and picked THE WORST photos taken for the digital album. Paid $130 just for my eyes to be closed in some of the photos and my youngest daughter’s face covered and didn’t even get to do the proper family portrait positions. Very unhappy with the quality of the photos since she rushed through it and don’t take the time to make us look our best which is her job. Have not been able to reach a manger or anyone after taking the JCPenny Survey and don’t plan to come back to the Columbia Mall location or maybe any of them for that matter. Look at the photos and tell me that you wouldn’t be upset that out of the 35 taken these are what she picks! These were the only 3 i had with my daughters and each one of them is awful! Eyes closed in one, her face covered in the other, and hair is messed up in the last one. UNACCEPTABLE”

“This is one of my favorite stores, so for that I won't go on to leave a bad review. I like how they always have such a large selection of pans, bathroom things, candles, hair accessories and so on. I came in today though, and the line was very long. I feel they should hire more people. They've always had such great deals when it came to things in this store, but the wait times for checking out should not be as long as they were”

“I went into this store not knowing what to expect, I have not been in a walmart for about 3 years but it was clean and stocked, and the customer service was good so I'm happy I went through a human line the experience was great she greeted me, we made small talk I was done, not some loud voice telling me I didn't Scan something when I know I did, every other item, people want to know you care s9 human contact is best you want my money but I'm not good enough to get greeted and talked to sometimes the store visit is some people's only mains of human contact think about it”

They have a decent amount of selection of everything from fresh produce to everyday items including snacks, linens, camping essentials. Their vegan options are more than other small stores like Aldi.
Some products which are expired or close by are on heavy mark down prices. In my opinion it’s an amazing thing to do as it prevents the products to go bad! I saw noodles for 1cent/pack (closer to expiry) which is like giving it all away for free!
Staff is very polite and helpful. I don’t know about the bargain, so I can’t say anything about it!
Their coffee selection is great, if you’re a coffee lover do check it out!
Some of the pasta sauces and jellies you don’t easily find in another stores!”
“This is one of the better Walmart locations in the area. The store is well stocked and clean. This location does not have as many grocery items as the Walmart location on Ridge Rd. I don’t think this location is as crowded as others. Lines move quickly for check out. Plenty of parking.”

“I've shopped at various Homegoods stores around the country and like this one the best. When I moved to B'more, I visited the Pikesville location which relocated to the newly built (at that time) Foundry Row Shopping Center. The displays are inviting and beautifully arranged. The quality of items with the "just right" markdown prices make it hard to leave empty handed. I never do.”
