“awol is a cool spot for urban/high fashion & imported brands, sneakers, hats, and accessories. Expect to pay $100+ for sneakers here (worth it). They have a fantastic staff who are always helpful when you're trying stuff out. The establishment is accessible and there are chairs to sit. No bathroom. They have a great web store, too, that ships globally. Pop in and get new kicks!”

“My sister & I were in your Newton store on Saturday and we were met with salesperson, Dori when we entered the store.
She was friendly, welcoming and asked if we needed help.
We ended up spending a couple hours in the store and Dori was fantastic!

“I love this studio! Unfortunately I had to move to NH, but my few months with the ladies at PB Somerville were great. Noemi is always kind and supportive and Mariah and Pauline have amazing music!! I love PB because they help with your form and can work with any restrictions you may have, even day to day. I struggle with back pain and always felt comfortable because modifications are often included. Also loved Marisa and Caitlin, always friendly faces to see around the studio. I will miss PBAR and recommend it to anyone in the area, especially the unlimited membership. Mixing classic and align workouts make for the perfect routine throughout the week!”

Greta, the owner, was able to create a custom necklace for me from a pair of earrings I completely fell in love with. She personalized the length to my exact specifications and made sure I loved every detail.

“My husband and I were walking Boston on the last day of a trip to New England, and we came across December Thieves. You could instantly tell that it was a special boutique where you weren't going to find the same old thing. It did not disappoint! Not only were the pieces wonderfully unique and beautifully made, but Jemesii and Brick were so kind, thoughtful, helpful, and absolutely made the experience. Shopping is so much better when you feel like you have an expert helping to curate the experience and really educate you about what you're buying. Karen, the owner, will leave you in peace to shop but she will also kindly answer any questions or chat if you want! She works with designers all over the world and has some super cool and interesting clothing in her shop. I think the prices are very reasonable, there is something for everyone even if you’re on a budget. I love how curated the store is for different seasons with colors and cuts to match the time of year. Hands down one of my favorite shops in the area to visit!”
