“They do the job. Servicing, sales both used and new. We had a bike serviced and tuned up for under $100-which is fair in my opinion. They have a variety of people working there- some prickly some nice but all helpful. We got a used bike for our daughter in great condition for 60-65% less than our friend paid for a new one. I’m sure things can be found cheaper online but unless it’s significantly cheaper we will go to wheelworks.”

“I cannot recommend this place enough. The owner and the staff are so friendly, encouraging, and knowledgeable about all things triathlon. They really have a great variety of bikes, gear, clothes, and accessories to choose from and if they don’t have the exact item you need they provide great advice on how to find it. The bike fitting process was smooth and extremely helpful. We learned so much about the sport and learned helpful tips and tricks along the way. They all go out of their way to support newcomers to the sport and it is a great idea to make this your first stop on the road to becoming a triathlete, or just the first of many stops along the way. This is definitely a team you want in your corner!”

“I was in the market for a new road bike, and given my planned investment, grew increasingly uneasy with making a large purchase based upon a factory-to-consumer model.I was invited to the store, checked out the inventory, and made appointment for a formalized fitting. The high-tech fitting, which reviewed riding position on the hoods and drops, along with saddle position, allowed the technicians to utilize advanced technology and made precise recommendations on a in scope bikes as my preferred price point. After purchasing the bike, the shop was responsive in following up when all modifications were complete.Barry, Clint, and Team—Thank you for your attention and continued support throughout the process!”

“When I blew out the rear wheel (I ride 5 days a week and Boston roads can be tough) they fixed me up in no time with a better wheel and some plumb tires. I got the used Cannondale from them a year and half before for at good price. I would highly recommend this shop; they're awesome.”

“I recently bought a bicycle from Jamie and had a fantastic experience. He was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, especially with my kids. “Got a flat tire while out in Middlesex Fells. Called JRA and they told me to come in without hesitation. It was like 1pm and they made time for me and fixed my inner tube within 5 minutes. Everyone was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. They absolutely saved my day and I will be coming back every chance I get. Hopefully just for gear and supplies, but really good to know this is the closest shop if you find yourself in trouble out in the Fells. I believe the gentleman's name was Matt that answered my call and fixed my tire, apologies if that's not correct.”

“Went here last week to buy some mudguards and an air chamber for my wheel, but when I went in the person working there took a look at my bike and found missing parts and issues that I hadn't seen before and fixed them for a very cheap price so after seeing the good offers I bought a new seat for the bike and the man again fixed a minor issue with my bike seat for almost nothing, and notified me of a big issue I had if I wanted It fixed but I declined.Super friendly service and very cheap prices. Best bike shop in town for sure, I'll come back without a doubt.”

“Had my first experience with Quad Cycles recently. I needed a tune up ($85) to my old RockHopper mountain bike. Also needed new tires, tubes and saddle. Rustem was busy with another customer but gave me a visual acknowledgement that he'll be with me shortly. I kept myself busy with checking out new bikes, clothing etc. I liked the atmosphere as it reminded me of an old school shop. The newer shops I've been to are more aligned with all things modern and high prices. Once Rustem and I got talking, I realized how caring and knowledgeable he is. He didn't try to sell me on a new bike or expensive products. He told me my bike would be done within a few a days even though he's short on employees. Upon pick up, everything was in order and I'm very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend Quad Cycles for your typical rider family. I will frequenting this shop when I have a bike need or just for a social drop by to chat with Rustem. Total out of pocket was $285 plus tax which I felt was very reasonable given the beat up condition of my bike.”

“We were able to find a extra large frame to fit my son. The process was quick and efficient. Lots of bikes in the racks and found the perfect bike for school commuting. Many thanks to Papa Wheelies!!”

“Everyone who works here acts like an ornery old man, and two of the three of them are. But it is a useful fox burrow of an LBS for the granola people of JP and the rest of us who occasionally need a tuneup.”

“I am so impressed! I have been coming to Cambridge Bicycle for a couple years now for my super old, third-hand Motobecane road bike. I forgot I needed to make an appointment for a tune-up, so I arrived today without one. The shop was very busy, but they still made time to check me in, and gave me an evaluation of my gears, breaks, etc. within minutes of me entering the store. Luckily, I didn't need the full tune-up, and with a little oil I was good to go for the season free of charge! So grateful to the team for this service.”

“Very pricey items and service, but high quality. If you can swing the costs, I can highly recommend it, but if you're looking to address your bike equipment and maintenance needs on a budget, this is absolutely not the place for you.”
