“Stayed here for four days. Very well maintained and clean. Large spacious rooms. Continental breakfast had a good variety of options. Front desk staff were awesome. Away from the bustle of the city, yet close enough to major attractions depending on traffic.”

“Sweet spot for Valentine's Day!Rooms: We stayed in the Henry David Thoreau suite and it did not disappoint. The bed could be a little softer, otherwise the entire room was comfortable, cozy, and inviting. Large and spacious with a dining table and small kitchenette. A nice sofa chair and nice sofa couch and four-poster bed. The bathroom is well maintained and includes a jacuzzi option on the spacious tub and a stand up shower.Nearby activities: Minuteman National Park, Walden Pond State Reservation, The Manse, Old North Bridge, Bay Circuit Trail, more museums than you'll have time to visit! Don't forget to grab a kayak and take a leisurely paddle along the storied wild and scenic Musketaquid River.Walkability: You can walk for hours from right out the inn door without needing your car.Food & drinks: The food and drinks here are top notch. Our meal was fresh, hot, delicious, and gourmet at affordable prices. Drinks are well crafted, it's clear the bartender knows what they are doing.Noteworthy details: This place was once in the hands of the Thoreau family and has a rich history going back to the revolutionary war. It was the first hotel in America!”

“Nice place, it was quiet when we went. The suites are nice and roomy, clean. I would've liked to try the pool, but it was not on the roster for this trip. Room service was OK, and the food was decentFood & drinks: The room service was decent. The drinks were like paint remove, they were so strong and wage we didn't drink we brought home for our Tiki torches”

“Loved everything about my stay here, came from Maryland in May 2023 for an entire week. Have no complaints. We had the two bedroom two bathroom suite. The room was great. The free breakfast was wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location was great, very close to 95. Easy access to stores (Target, Walgreens etc) Will stay there again if I return to the area.”

“I’m only rating the Inn by my visit not stay. My aunt stayed there the night before her wedding. I visited as I helped her get ready for her big day, and the family took pictures outside. What I experienced was brief but still, I got to see how nice the room was especially the bathroom. The service seemed efficient however, the location not so much at a very busy intersection. I wasn’t too crazy about the huge US flag on the wall but I must say the room is clean and comfortable.”

“Okayish hotel. They don't give water for free, had to drink tap water or buy one from the bending machine. You have good restaurants nearby. Try godavari ( Indian ) for dinner!”

“Very decent hotel, and reasonably priced. The crucial parts of the hotel are met well: Soft sheets and bed, room and hallway doors don't slam, pretty much sound proof. Nice lobby, and nice salt water pool (though small, and a hot tub would be a very welcome addition!). The gym is decent for a hotel, decent Wifi, and conveniently located. This will be our go to for the Boston area!”

“My 1st visit here and definitely will be back. Come up to player poker and didn't want to drive back home. Room was clean and big. check in and check out staff were kind and courteous. Was able to park right infront of my room. Bed was comfortable. Microwave and frig with freezer in room.Only downfall to be honest they need extra towels in the room.Close to multiple restaurants and shopping is literally across the street.Rooms: Clean and spaciousNearby activities: Shopping and poker right around the cornerFood & drinks: Multiple restaurants to choose from within 2 to 5 min drive”

“Very nice hotel in Woburn right off the highway. Close to everything and like 15-20 minutes from Boston. The room was very nice and clean. The restaurant & bar area is very nice, a little expensive, but nice. Pool area looked nice. We didn't include breakfast with the cost of our room, it was $60 for two people, a little on the pricey side but it was delicious! Overall, great hotel with essentially everything you need on-site or close by.”

“Excellent hotel! Rooms have been updated with glass door shower, and modern fixtures. Water pressure was good being on the 7th floor and I didn't hear much of others room plumbing as that's normally the case on older hotels. The linen and towels were soft but the mattresses were hard and could use a pillow top to help soften the sleep. The A/C unit was quiet however the thermostat limited your options a bit to essentially just temperature. I normally like to keep the fan on to fade the outside noise, but this unit wouldn't stay on. If you're a light sleeper, request a room on the opposite side of the highway as the traffic and louds cars will get loud after 6am. (Windows are not well insulated) The hotel lobby is ample, welcoming decor and the fragrance is lovely. They only had one elevator working (1 out of 3 elevators) which made it very hectic and messy as they would be a line of people waiting for the elevator. ? The breakfast buffet was good. The fruit salad bar was the best part as they had a large variety of fruits. They had an omelets station, which was a plus as those liquid, fakes eggs get disgusting after a few minutes. Would've like to see non-dairy milk for cereal and coffee and granola and yogurt as well. All the staff was awesome and friendly. We got partial house keeping that made our beds and refreshed some of the towels and refilled our coffee k-cups. Those smalls details make a difference to make as I hate having to call front desk to ask for what should be expected.”

“My stay here has been very smooth and stress free. Any bumps in the road are quickly smoothed out with the help of the patient, friendly, helpful employees. So far everyone I have dealt with on a personal level has been great. I have to give Neil the 3-11 employee at the front desk a solo shout out as well, he’s very by the book, but explains everything thoroughly and seems to always have the guests best interest.”

“This hotel felt like a 3-, 4-, or 5-star hotel, not sure why it is only rated a 2-star. The rooms were pleasantly comfortable, LOVE how the bedroom has its own door! The breakfast was absolutely AMAZING !!! Literally the best breakfast I've seen at a hotel, the fresh-made omelet was DELICIOUS !!!!! Having a bar inside was nice too!! I highly recommend staying here!”

“When I tell you that this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, I say this with pride. Genuinely incredible staff, very attentive and helpful, the person who worked the night of our check in date was super friendly and courteous, sadly forgot to get her name but she was awesome. The breakfast is absolutely the best I've had in a standard hotel, full on scrambled eggs with bacon/sausage, little triangle potato things, pancakes, bagels, cereal, this is what breakfast should be like in every place. They had a gorgeous pool, which sadly we couldn't use due to just not having our swimming attire/it being the middle of October, but it looked clean as anything. Our room had a balcony area, was extremely clean, chargers above the bed, a heat lamp in the bathroom, which my girlfriend, now fiancé since I proposed during my time in this area, absolutely loved. Oh yeah, plus my girlfriend and I got engaged here, I was super nervous, but they made us feel like we were at home. This is a fantastic hotel, old school sure, but none the less, if we end up taking another trip to Salem, this will be our hotel of choice. No questions asked. Sure its about an hour away, but I'd rather drive a bit and stay at a place I know will be a fantastic stay. I say this with over 4 years of hospitality under my belt, amazing hotel.”

“A couple of weeks ago there was a large snow storm in the area and I had lost heat at my house. My family ended up spending several days at the Sonesta ES which was amazing. The 2 Bedroom suite was ideal for my family of 5 spacous and modern. With hot breakfast provided each morning we only had to worry about our dinner. We were able to make our own dinner each night in the kitchen. The room was clean and comfortable. If I ever need a placec to stay again with my family I will only choose the Sonesta ES.Safety: I was very comfortabl staying there with my family.”

“This is a wonderful hotel. I called to let the front desk know we’d be late and they assured me that our room would be ready whenever we arrived. What a great feeling when you’ve traveled 200+ miles to freeze in a hockey rink before you can check in!Casey gave us one of the warmest welcomes when we finally checked in —close to midnight — complete with waters and warm cookies! And, Darlene treated us so nicely in the bar/restaurant.I recommend the DoubleTree Andover as your home away from home.”

“Staff is super helpful and friendly. The maintenance man saw me carting my toddler back and forth to the lobby to heat food and he brought me a microwave. I wish there was breakfast included, the menu is limited at the coffee shop and the restaurant seemed closed. Note: nothing much within walking distance so my two year old and I had to play on the grounds to kill time while my husband was at work.”

“It's fine. Interior rehab from previous design is pretty and contemporary. Adjusted to the "fast casual" type of hotelling that is common today. Rooms were clean and crops but small. Shower head is a D-. Water pressure is terrible. That may be a regulatory issue but I have to believe a better shower head could help.No cooties, cleaning staff obviously does their job and the building refresh will make it feel nice for a while. Plus I grew up around here. Good landing spot for visiting my childhood.Addendum: the new HVAC units are too loud. Otherwise I'd score the rooms better.Food & drinks: Aroma Joe's across the street and Crack'd are just down 133 aways. I love Crack'd, excellent fast breakfast and coffee.”

“The Bedford Motel is a quaint motel with cozy rooms in a quiet neighborhood that can be found in Bedford, Massachusetts at 30 North Road. What I learned about the motel is as follows:* **Place:** Approximately 25 miles northwest of Boston lies the historic town of Bedford. Situated right off I-95, the motel is an ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding area.* * Lodgings:** There are many different types of rooms available at the motel, such as family-friendly, double, and single rooms. Each room features free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a private bathroom.**Features:** The motel has free parking, a vending machine, and a front desk staffed around-the-clock. Every morning, coffee is offered in the lobby.* **Activities close by:** The Bedford area offers a variety of activities, such as shopping at the Burlington Mall, skiing at Nashoba Valley, and touring historic places like Lexington and Concord.* **Comments:** Reviews of the Bedford Motel on Yelp and TripAdvisor are not entirely consistent. While some patrons bemoan the motel's thin walls and antiquated décor, others commend it for its spotless rooms and welcoming staff. All things considered, the Bedford Motel is a decent choice for tourists on a tight budget who want a tidy and cozy place to stay in Bedford. Please note that this is not a five-star hotel. You might want to think about booking a hotel in Boston or Cambridge if you're searching for something more opulent or contemporary. You might wish to stay near Lexington and Concord if you intend to tour a lot of the historical attractions in the area. The Bedford Motel is a fantastic choice if you're on a limited budget, but there are a few other motels in the vicinity that are about the same price.”

“Great place, great people, great location. Spent a whole week for my anniversary and Halloween. It was great. Nina and Karen were the best, they deserve raises and praises. Everyone was great but Nina and Karen went above and beyond. Right next to the interstate, but you'd never know it. Cozy, classic, but funky and fun too. Twenty minutes from everything but far enough away to avoid the crazy busyness of the big city. 11 out of 10 would stay again.Rooms: A bit dated, but clean and comfy.Nearby activities: Nearby to everything, easy to access the I95.Safety: We had no issues, and it seemed very safe.”

“This place is sketchy! It seems like they overbook and the prices vary greatly. If you book through a different agency and pay a lower price, it seems you end up with a canceled room even though you have a confirmation number. Between myself and 3 friends, we all overheard strangers being told their reservations were cancelled…and not by anyone in the party. Most had used another agency for a lower price.I also had a friend who booked over the phone and got a lower price. When she went to check in (with a confirmation number) she was told her room was cancelled because it was after 6pm. She was NEVER told there was any cutoff for check-in. There was no proof of this policy anywhere on the website or in her confirmation email. The rooms are so in need of repair. My room was 80 degrees and the air unit kept blowing hot air even after I set and reset the thermostat. I finally unplugged it. The tub had cracks by the drain, part of the baseboard unit was broken off and sitting by the toilet. The blinds for the window were broken, and I had to check to be sure I was not flashing anyone at the convenience store across the street when I wanted to take a shower because the window blind in the bathroom would not close.Parking is ridiculous. Very small, crazily designed garage underground and a scary overflow lot across the street. At least my bed was clean and comfortable.Definitely avoid this place if you can.”
