“This was the second time I ordered a photo print on MaxMetal from AlphaGraphics. The first one, a high-angle shot of the rice terraces of Yunnan, China, was 24x36 in size, printed directly on the 3mm white aluminum composite panel using high resolution UV-resistant ink. It came out beautifully. The details were almost three-dimensional.For my latest 27x48 print, Faith Foley of AlphaGraphics suggested a different technique. This involved a two-step process of printing on a sheet of 3.5 mil white gloss vinyl using high resolution latex ink, which was then laminated onto a 3mm MaxMetal substrate. The result was stunning.AlphaGraphics' attention to details was meticulous: from double-checking and fine-tuning the resolution of the final enlargement, to applying quarter-rounds to ease the corners of the print, to providing high-strength double-sided tapes for mounting, nothing was amiss. The owner was very attentive and gave me the invitations in a very high quality prints and everything cut. “I work at MIT, and we have used Fenway Group for printing all kinds of things, including laminated student name plates and business cards. We place very large orders, and they always arrive quickly. The quality is excellent, and so is the customer service. This summer, I unfortunately had to give Fenway an enormous order to do, on very short notice. I didn't think that there was any way that they could turn it around as quickly as we needed, but they did it, and the quality was still perfection. I can't recommend this company enough.
