“This was the second time I ordered a photo print on MaxMetal from AlphaGraphics. The first one, a high-angle shot of the rice terraces of Yunnan, China, was 24x36 in size, printed directly on the 3mm white aluminum composite panel using high resolution UV-resistant ink. It came out beautifully. The details were almost three-dimensional.For my latest 27x48 print, Faith Foley of AlphaGraphics suggested a different technique. This involved a two-step process of printing on a sheet of 3.5 mil white gloss vinyl using high resolution latex ink, which was then laminated onto a 3mm MaxMetal substrate. The result was stunning.AlphaGraphics' attention to details was meticulous: from double-checking and fine-tuning the resolution of the final enlargement, to applying quarter-rounds to ease the corners of the print, to providing high-strength double-sided tapes for mounting, nothing was amiss. The quality is excellent, and so is the customer service. This summer, I unfortunately had to give Fenway an enormous order to do, on very short notice. I didn't think that there was any way that they could turn it around as quickly as we needed, but they did it, and the quality was still perfection. I can't recommend this company enough. They really helped us out in a pinch, and they've been an excellent partner in general for many years.”
