“Oasis in a food desert. Had a lot of fresh produce and all for fair prices. Only recommendation is to check the expiration dates of things before you buy it. They do accept returns but it has to be within 24 hours.”

“Love their cheeses and their cheese knowledge (and their patience when I’m selecting my cheeses)

The holiday catering was a little pricy for what it was
The crab bites (no picture) were extremely small and not very flavorful
Goat cheese bites were nice
The salmon was delicious and most pricy ($120)
Egg plant parmigiana tasted very well and seemed to me the best value for money”

“I love this store. It has almost all the dried beans, lentils, legumes you could ask for. There's lots of bulk spices and a good selection of tea. I haven't tried their meat, but everything I have tried has been good quality for decent prices. If you live in the area, this is a great shop to stock up on bulk supplies or grab an ingredient you run out of.”

“I was greeted as soon ? as I walked in. I was curious about this market the last time I visited this street. I observed window seating and thought about getting a drink and warming up inside. I was impressed ? when I walked inside.
Fresh fruits? and vegetables, meals to go, healthy food, ? cheeses, basic groceries and a deli that serves hot and cold subs and sandwiches ?.
The dining area was busy!
I am not a Bostonian but this is a great place for a movie ? company to come to if they wanted a good representation of a neighborhood store or market.

Dietary restrictions: Let your server know about your dietary limitations ahead of time before ordering.

Parking: Parking ?️ on Boston streets is always a challenge! It is a walkable city ?️ though.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ♿ accessible but space ? is tight. I don't know if there is a wheelchair ♿ access to the liquor ? shelves downstairs. You may have to ask for assistance .”

“I usually love going to Wallaston however this evening they closed the grill at 12:20 when they close at 1 AM therefore I was sad and could not get a breakfast sandwich?????”

“The store is not very large, but it has a wide variety of organic foods typical of Whole Foods. Knives and forks are located after the register, but I wish they were placed in the deli corner.”

“Looking for a quick bite after a movie, and husband suggested a sandwich place near his old office that he hadn't been to in a while, but remembered enjoying. Cardullo's did not disappoint! I got the chicken parm sub, and the bread, chicken cutlet, and cheese were top notch. The sauce could have had a bit more flavor, but overall the sandwich was fantastic. My husband had the Reuben and loved it. My friend had the Pilgrim, and thought the stuffing was the only weak point as it had too much of an herb which made it overpower other parts of the sandwich. However, this was not enough to ruin the sandwich, and she still found it to be delicious. While we were waiting for the food, we explored the rest of the shop. We didn't buy anything else, but I will definitely go back in the future to purchase the unique candies, snacks, and specialty items they have from England and other countries which you won't find in a typical grocery store here. I regret not asking where they get their bread! Store was also very clean, and staff were helpful and friendly.”

“I stopped in here just to get a sport drink and the clerk asked me if I am from town and welcomed me to the neighborhood. Next time I am in the area I will be back.”

“I love this store!!!! This is a place where you can truly pick up whatever you need for lunch, dinner, having unexpected guests, or filling in gaps from your bigger grocery shop. They have leeks! Doms steak tips! Great frozen foods including Reds burritos. The store is spotlessly clean and the folks who work there are friendly and helpful. This store has saved me from ordering out so many times. Thank you for being a great neighborhood resource!”

“Very convenient shopping location. Wide selection of stuff. Many registers.

Unfortunately, not always stocked (or fresh items). A bit of a confusing layout. No place to put shopping carts afterwards (cause clutter). The only elevator out doesn’t work half the time (annoying to carry large grocery bags up).”

“Great employees it's just sad that everything has to be locked up now, or have weird yellow gates cutting off the Pampers... Presumably making them harder to steal? Produce on the whole isn't that great but the store is spotless”

“A South End Boutique sized supermarket. A little pricey, but convenient for SOWA.

The Fresh Deli, Hot bar, Salad bar and Soups are worth the trip.
My Favorites are the fried chicken Wings, etc @ Hot bar.
Italian Wedding Soup, and others.
Also the Ground beef burrito and meatballs, and the tuna salad@the deli.
Great variety of foods at the deli.
And great freshly made sandwiches as well as pre packaged mini sandwiches.
Addictive baked goods..Muffins, Loafs, Cookies, Brownies, Pies, Cakes, etc.
There is also Wines and other alcohol products.
Very Convenient and Clean.”

“I recommend this store highly, it's always clean, the staff very welcoming and willing to help you, great atmosphere and vibe and on my visit the Manager Tim couldn't be more helpful with my online order that day.
If you are dissatisfied with your usual marketplace, give Star Market a try and this particular store in general.”

“Usually very attentive and polite. At times regular customers captivate the clerks attention or there's add on shopping from the sales floor and it delays the POS process. I am, non-the-less a loyal customer.”
