About Hertz Car Rental - Boston - Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)

Hertz at Boston Logan International Airport provides a range of rental vehicles including luxury cars, sports cars, SUVs, electric vehicles, vans, and trucks. The experience can be very smooth, with customers reporting easy pick-up and return processes for vacations. Many find Hertz to be their number one go-to rental agency. Staff members, like a fantastic employee at the Boston counter, receive high praise for exceptional customer service, making check-in easy and explaining everything clearly. Another helpful employee was able to provide a nice car at a very decent rate. However, experiences can vary. One customer reported a problem at a different airport location where a car was not ready, causing a wait. The return process in Boston was also sometimes confusing, with only one employee directing cars and unclear instructions, which led to a customer feeling it was odd. A separate issue involved the company almost charging more than owed due to a receipt error showing a late return, though it was corrected. The overall advice is to double-check your receipt and take photos when returning to protect yourself.

Next time we come back we will... read full comment

Final bill had unauthorized charge for Roadside Assistance. I just made them aware of it now so will reserve judgment to see if they give me a response. The date is 9/20/26. I will return and modify if-when they respond.
