I would definitely recommend this location to friends and family. He was like a one man show, managing the front desk while being able to let me view the storage appropriate for my moving needs. “I had a great experience with 617 Movers! I had a 1-bedroom move out to storage and then a long-distance move from Boston to NYC. All of my things were moved quickly and with such care. Movers were kind and extremely helpful and communicative. Big shout out to Alex, he was awesome! Moving is stressful, but they made it feel so much easier. Also fairly priced, even in the peak of moving season.”

“Drove in to reserve a storage unit in person. Dan was super helpful from the start, locked up his office to show me the units in person and made sure I knew all my options. The process of retrieving a code to the facility and access to the unit from the unloading zone couldn’t have been easier. We’re super happy this is available, also right across the street from UHaul where we rented a truck to haul our items. Couldn’t have been a smoother process and Dan made it extremely easy and stress free for me. Highly recommend this storage!”

“The building has been kept up so it's decent, clean and fairly mold free as public storage does a wonderful job at keeping up their buildings. I've read the gates arent working so that's something to consider However public storage has unfriendly employees and often there's no one available. The reviews seem to mention Paris who seems to be working well but that may not last.
It depends on what you're looking for. There's a lot of units and elevators and carts. The location isn't the most convenient for public transportation but there's one bus nearby I recall. I believe they have a restroom if you ask and it is fairly safe location just be aware late at night in any industrial area without a lot of residential. I don't know about prices but they were a bit higher due to being closer to Boston than other facilities but still fair.”
“Ouissal, the store manager at Extra Space Storage, handled everything from start to finish with precision. She walked us through the unit beforehand, gave a full tour of the facility, and explained every detail clearly. No confusion, no gaps—just competence and control of the process.
Her knowledge and execution made the entire experience straightforward. This location earns a recommendation strictly because of her. Would send anyone here based on that alone.

“This is a great storage unit, its always nice and cool inside and clean and maintained the only problem I had was the rats. Otherwise the manager Akido (i probably spelled it wrong lol) is one of the nicest men and very professional and keeps the place running very smooth every time I have had a problem he was right there to help with a smile. He is a very good man and a top notch employee.”

“I rented a storage unit at Prime Storage (formerly Planet Self-Storage) on Traveler Street in Boston's South End for about 19 years. They've been great. My stuff was fine the whole time, the billing was managed well, and the staff have been very helpful, especially Chris, the current front desk person. “I went to UHaul to fill a propane tank, had never been there before. I pulled in the entrance and ran into the customer service area. It was busy. I asked a man in a uHaul collared shirt where to go and he walked outside with me and pointed and I specifically asked if I could drive over because there was a do not enter sign and he said yes. I drove over and parked next to the propane and got out with the heavy tanks. A young woman yelled out that I could not park there and I said that I was just told by someone in customer service to pull over here for the propane. She said "you're not special, you don't get to park there."Now, that's not a nice way to speak to a customer, particularly given it is not marked that you cannot park. I moved the car across the street and she made another guy move his truck, didn't tell him that he was not special. Once I got the propane that young man was very pleasant and polite, but someone needs to put up signage about the parking and someone should have a talk with that young woman about how she speaks to customers. The 4 star is because of the other two employees, particularly the young man at propane. If I had based the star on the young woman's treatment it would have been no stars,”
“I cannot than you enough for making move-out so easy!! When Berklee cancelled classes at the last minute because of Covid-19, my daughter only had 3 days to vacate her dorm before coming home. We were able to get a last-minute appointment and your customer support chat people helped make sure the drivers arrived on-time so my daughter could catch her flight.
