“Since we lived in Firestone Park in the 90s, I almost always go to this Ace Hardware. But about a year ago when I needed some screws that would go into concrete, I was in the Falls and stopped into Menards "to save time". The customer service representative was eager please but had zero knowledge about what I was asking or where to find that type of screw. We wasted at least 20 minutes.So I left straight from there and came to Ace hardware in Firestone Park, and they knew exactly what I needed and suggested a drill bit that ended up being perfect for my needs.They have always been highly knowledgeable, helpful, and the prices are great.Don't waste your time anywhere else ?”

“Great company, highly recommend! We've had our snowblower and lawnmower repaired by them for many years. They have a pickup and delivery service, which is extremely helpful. Recently they fixed our snowblower for a very reduced price when it didn't work at the beginning of this winter, after having been serviced by them at the end of last winter, which we hugely appreciated.”

“Danny is the kind of dude you meet who always has a pocket knife when you have to cut a shoelace and a cold beverage for an adult and a child. If you need toilet paper, wing nuts, or Red Bull and maybe some tampons please go to Danny’s hardware because Danny will hook you up and if he doesn’t have it, he will get it. I would trust Daniel to watch my children while my wife and my girlfriend and I all go to the movies together. And you better believe we buy our snacks from the hardware store.”

“Let’s face it, hardware is hardware, but great service is another thing! I go to Hillside for their extremely knowledgeable, attentive and friendly employees, that and the bitchin’ antique radio playing cool jazz! I live close enough to three other similar stores (2 are Ace & arguably more convenient) but I chose to go to Hillside because Tom, the manager & Jerry, the owner (no cartoon jokes!!) take the time to help me sort out what I need for projects and products. And when I’ve had to return items, I’ve never had to justify myself. The whole staff carries the same helpful, relaxed attitude and it’s obvious that’s something that’s instilled from the top down! Harder to find these days than a left-handed smoke shifter! (You’ll find one in Aisle 2 in the plumbing section in the basement BTW)”

Plumbing consultant in this store was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Figured out how to do what I needed, found all the pieces and I was able to complete the job. Thank you!”
“I had such a great experience at this store today. I went in to buy bolt cutters because I had accidentally put a padlock on backwards, rendering it unable to be unlocked. The gentleman managing the store could have easily sold me the bolt cutters, but instead helped me problem solve and ended up cutting down the key so I was able to successfully unlock the padlock. He was incredibly helpful and generous- I am very grateful!”

“Perfect experience overall! There are 4 Stihl dealers within twenty miles of me none of which had the saw I needed in stock. They all said they could order what I needed but it would be more than a week before I could take delivery. I wanted to purchase from a small business if possible and In my search found Milton Village Hardware online , they had the saw I needed so after seeing they have been in business since 1918 decided to buy from them. Purchase made Tuesday afternoon and I was using the saw Friday afternoon on our farm in Tennessee! I would not hesitate to purchase from them again and plan to buy my next saw from Milton Village Hardware .”
