“Convenient location to buy snacks, smokes and beer/wine without having to deal with traffic on Pleasant Street because they also have parking lot access from Wheeler Ave. I've lived near here for over 25 years and this place has always been an abandoned building until now. Staff is friendly and chill.”
“It's a bit hectic, they do however sell unique items, old school stuff. I haven't seen Jacks since I was like 10 years old!! They have old school candies, they sell really cool stuff, including cell phones, cases, jewelery ect. It's a little fast paced but I really liked it. It was like going back in time.”

Z and the fellow co workers are always friendly and treat you like family n friends . “Been going here for about 10 years now. My only gripe about the store is the timing of opening. It says 7am and others have updated it stating 7am... But anytime I go down there between 7:05-7:30am, nobody is there. A correct opening time would be nice. When they used to open at 6am, they were always on time opening the store.”

One large office supply store said it would be two to three hours, one local print shop was closed for vacation. I went to Walgreens in a panic - not only did they walk me through the kiosk experience, they had the photo ready for me in about 15 minutes. I cannot thank them enough for being so helpful in a very emotional and sad time for me.”
“It's always clean and the people that work there are very polite and friendly. Sisters Restaurant is next door to the Royal gas station. I have never ordered food from them, it's an Haitian restaurant cuisine.”

“Been coming to this location for several years. The only thing i find to totally wrong is the fact that the store is short staffed at peak hours. Leaving one employee to handle the customersand process Doordash orders on Friday afternoon/evening is totally insane. If you can’t have an additional person on schedule then maybe the store shouldn’t be doing door dash orders. Employees deserve better.”

“Stopped coming here for the past year or so and decided to stop in today before work. I was shocked, walked in @ 545 am and I have never seen so much food and different options, coffee was full too. I met the new Manager, Beth as she was cooking and was pleasantly surprised, she was actually really friendly and funny. Store was clean and there was coffee. (Again shocked) Patty cake (lol) at the register is so sweet. Will start coming here again!!”
“Just your average cumbies. I found that somebody had cleaned off their drug needle on the toilet paper roll in the bathroom but the staff was quick to replace it an apologize. Good job y'all”

“Great food and cheap as well. I have been going there for years and the food and service has always been great. I do say the grilled chicken is good but not as great as it was before. I do not know if there was a change in way of cooking it but it is still very taste.
Overall, I recommend people stop by if they need food or Cape Verdean product.”
