“I approached the entrance and was met by a wave of exiting patrons. I suppose this was not an ideal time to shop, however, I found a parking space more easily than expected. I bought the bare minimum which was some Zhoug Sauce and some tofu. If you haven't tried the Zhoug (pronunc. Jug) Sauce, be prepared for a spicy experience. It is delicious and actually pretty simple to make at home. To my surprise the long line to the check out stations moved quite swiftly.”

“So glad there’s an Indian grocery store within walkable distance in Brookline! They’re surprisingly well stocked for the size of the store and have tons of south indian options which are sometimes lacking in other Indian stores. The owners are very friendly. People afflicted with serious car-brain will compare a local mom and pop store in an expensive location with a chain in the suburbs - not all of us want to or can drive to a Patel Brothers in Waltham for a quick grocery trip. Glad we have this option in the neighborhood!”

“I don't understand the low rating on this place. This Stop & Shop is right in Coolidge Corner and it has a huge parking lot - I've seriously never had issues with this. It also has a 66 bus stop right in front of it. And a gas station! It's smaller than most, but I've never had problems finding what I'm looking for. Maybe if you're looking for something more specialty, but otherwise it's great. Good produce, good selection of items, and at reasonable prices. I've only ever had positive experiences with the staff members. Plus since it's technically not in Boston you don't have to pay for the paper bags at the end which is a win!”

“This star market is the friendliest, most helpful place to do your grocery shopping. From Whole Foods to Wegmans to Roche Brothers, this star market is the best. It’s a little rundown for sure, but the people who work here are the best.”

“I am a regular because I live very close..If I want fresh veggies and meat, I go kurkmans , but if I want to get something like soda or water, or milk, I go here..If you like a certain brand or flavor, they will order it for a regular..if I want to play keno now n then, I go there...If no one's around, I chitchat with owner or clerk..once in while, there can be a bad smell, but that's rare. It's more like bug spray I think. Of course they cost more, they are a small convenience store.i don't want to go supermarket for one soda, besides you can't buy just one can there.. I wish they opened past 9 tho.”

“This very small supermarket has a tiny parking lot and the physical store is small. The biggest drawback to me is the super narrow aisles. Being so small, there is not a huge selection Too small Not enough product. In the future I will go to the whole foods 8 or 1p blocks away or a closeby shaws.”
