Lands' End in Burlington offers versatile outerwear, swimwear, clothing, and accessories for men and women, including petite, plus, tall, and big-and-tall sizes. The store provides stylish, functional pieces, from cozy sweaters to party looks. Many customers praise the excellent quality and durability of daily wear and jackets, noting fabrics stay like new and prices are fair compared to competitors, with great Black Friday deals. The staff is described as attentive and knowledgeable. However, several criticisms are noted. The in-store return process can be very slow, and store inventory is often limited, forcing customers to order online. Sizing is reported as inconsistent lately, and the quality of swimwear has declined, with complaints of bad fit, thin fabric, and poor sewing. Customer service on the phone has gone downhill, and discount promotions can be restrictive. Significant price increases on items like shirts are a common frustration. Additionally, high shipping and return costs, specifically expensive return fees, have deterred some long-time shoppers.
I bought 5 long sleeve tee shirts since September. Some of the them took a long time to arrive. The earlier ones were made in Bangladesh and the later ones in Guatemala. The Bangladesh ones are heavier and nicer made. I probably won't be ordering anything else from them if they are reducing the quality.

My primary reason for visiting was to make a return of things ordered online. That process was very very slow. The second reason was to try on some similar things at the store and nothing I was interested in was available at the store. So I ended up driving home and ordering online again

The good: Attentive and knowledgeable staff. The Bad: The sizing is inconsistent lately. The bathing suit quality has really gone down hill. The fit is bad, the fabric is thin and not sewn well. The bathing suits sold in the past were well made of quality fabric, but no more.
