“Dan's Auto Repair shop has been my go-to place for a few years. Recently I took my 18 yrs old Rav4 there for brake pads and rotor replacement. Shortly after I returned to work, Jesse reached out via text message with details on the work and new parts needed. He also notified me some other issues revealed after the vehicle was lifted and wheels were taken off. Addressing these issues require specialized work that is not performed there. Jesse recommended a shop who is specialized in this type of work.
It's always a pleasure when I take my cars there for service. The waiting room is nicely set up. Everyone there is friendly and accommodating. They do quality work to keep my cars in good shape. When the repair needed is out of their reach, they will recommend reputable specialists to ensure the work will be done properly. Dan's auto repair shop is like the primary doctor of my cars. “When you have an older car and do not know much about cars, going to a car service center can feel a lot like going to the dentist. You know something may be wrong, you know it may affect your safety, but you do not always know what is urgent, what can wait, how much it should cost, or whether you should approve a recommended service.
Because of that, I usually feel very stressed and anxious when I have to take my car in. Express Tire & Auto Service was different. I brought my car in because I was concerned about my brakes and some overall issues while driving. They performed a very thorough inspection and sent me photos and videos of what they found, along with clear explanations and an online estimate where I could review each item and decide what to approve.
That system was incredibly helpful. At many places, I receive information verbally and can only understand part of what is being explained, so I end up feeling pressured to approve things because I am worried about safety. Here, I had enough time and information to make an informed decision. I really appreciated the transparency, professionalism, and kindness of the team.
They were friendly, patient, and reliable from start to finish. I feel very lucky to have found this place, and I feel much more comfortable and confident driving my car now. I would highly recommend Express Tire & Auto Service, especially to anyone with an older car or anyone who wants clear and detailed explanations before making repair decisions. “Bob at Central Auto is a throw back! I true gentleman who looks to help you and get you back on the road.I have had two instances where I brought my vehicle in (2010 Honda Ridgeline) for a quick fix and both times were a surprise!The first, he told me that he just needed to adjust something by my tie-rod, which was no charge. The second time, he did my front brakes which cost far under what I was quoted at two other places.I have brought my kids cars in for oil changes and the service and timing has been perfect each and every time!Definitely a 5-star!One more thing: please be sure to call before you drop your car so that Bob is able to get to it that same day! There is a key drop, if needed, as well!”
“I cant say enough about the team at the Arlington -Mystic St Valvoline. Each person is more friendly than the next. All are willing to help and they are not pushy at all...I find them honest and informative. I had an issue with a wiper that I had had installed during my last visit and Daniel (the manager) went out of his way to not only check it out, but also to go above and beyond to find out what the problem was, show me what it was and to fix it. Simply amazing! The are a first rate team..each and every one of them.”

Well this is not an exaggeration; on the spot Andy with a trusting smile said keys please, and is this your wife's car! Oh I'm old ole school old fashioned, poking my noise to check out the under carriage and Leo is multi tasking on air pressure and check over on tires... I'm noisy like that. I was simply thinking, they are with us for life. True story, you can ask my wife how great it feels to ABSOLUTELY TRUST a mechanic and his office.

“I’m always satisfied leaving Valvoline and my last visit was great! I went in for an oil change and asked if my transmission fluid could be checked. Isiah got me in and set up in no time, was knowledgeable about the services offered, and handed me off to Kevin for the remainder of the appointment. Kevin was also extremely knowledgeable about the benefits and needs for each service and was great to chat with - he even helped remove an old & expired resident parking permit that had been scratched up from my removal attempt. They physically showed me everything that needed repairs, we set up an appointment, and they fixed everything in one day. They even replaced a bulb that was out and didn't charge for labor.
