“I've been going to Crowell's since I was a little boy and the store looked like something out of Vermont. Now a Richdale shop, I find the staff always pleasant and the array of products rather remarkable in its breadth. Richdale now has two check-outs so there's rarely more than a couple of shoppers ahead of you. Very fast place! If you're looking for a true convenience store less than a mile off Rt 128 / I-93, this is your place.I read JOHN SMITH's review. He obviously had some bad experiences at Crowell's. But I just want to assure reader's of two things that are factually incorrect in John's review: Crowell's DOES have a huge liquor dept and, second, the staff are unfailingly FRIENDLY and give good customer service. So, don't be scared away by John's negative review. Go in, experience it yourself. I feel certain you will come away pleased.”
“I previously left a less than stellar review because of delivery issues, and no offer of any credit at all. Zayde's Friday closing time wasn't listed correctly, and the store was closed when Door Dash got there. I had no Shabbat dinner as a result. I ordered dinner today and all is well. Their food is too good to leave behind.”

“I was very disappointed to see that the Pitted Castelvetrano olives are not Castelvetrano olives AT ALL, but Cerignola olives. Why not just call them pitted Cerignola olives? When Pastene saw this review they called, they addressed my concerns, and they are making changes. How cool is that?”
