“I went to Larry’s Heating, Hardware & Plumbing Supply as a last resort after visiting three other plumbing stores. Here’s a little backstory: I had taken the drain out of my tub, thinking it would be a simple fix. Turns out, it’s an old tub that needed a pretty specific piece(at least some kind of adapter) and I couldn’t find it anywhere. While I didn’t end up finding the exact part, I want to give a huge shoutout to Richard at Larry’s. He went above and beyond, he gave me advice, helped clean the old piece, and even let me borrow his tool so I could get everything back in place. I was seriously so grateful. For context, at the first plumbing store I visited, the guy just threw my stuff on the counter and told me to call a plumber. I get it I’m a woman walking into a plumbing shop…but Larry’s made me feel capable and encouraged me to be a problem-solver. I don’t know what else to say except thank you. Please support local businesses like this one. They make a real difference. 🙏”
