βNice store in a quiet area in this plaza. There are security guards driving around but it didnt seem like an unsafe place. Loaded up on stuff here and the staff was very helpful. Recommend to anyone looking for a good deal on some low use tools for the average homeowner.β
βSearching for something I needed online and I found this store that I did not know was there. (I live about 30 minutes away.) The items I needed was half the price of the same item at Home Depot and Lowe's so I stopped in while I was in the area. I also found out that the employees were more helpful and friendlier then at the other 2 stores. I'll be returning next time I need an item.β

βOne of the window box brackets on my house finally broke after 20 years. I wanted to replace it with something similar. Thinking I could maybe find ones of a similar size, I brought the remaining bracket to Florence Hardware and showed it to them. They led me through the labyrinth and FOUND ME THE EXACT SAME BRACKETS. From 2 decades ago. This place/these lovely folks are a bit magical...β

βI went to Larry’s Heating, Hardware & Plumbing Supply as a last resort after visiting three other plumbing stores. Here’s a little backstory: I had taken the drain out of my tub, thinking it would be a simple fix. Turns out, it’s an old tub that needed a pretty specific piece(at least some kind of adapter) and I couldn’t find it anywhere.
While I didn’t end up finding the exact part, I want to give a huge shoutout to Richard at Larry’s. He went above and beyond, he gave me advice, helped clean the old piece, and even let me borrow his tool so I could get everything back in place. I was seriously so grateful.
For context, at the first plumbing store I visited, the guy just threw my stuff on the counter and told me to call a plumber. I get it I’m a woman walking into a plumbing shop…but Larry’s made me feel capable and encouraged me to be a problem-solver.
I don’t know what else to say except thank you. Please support local businesses like this one. They make a real difference. 🙏β

Kylee (spelling?) was very helpful over the phone but really needed to see what I had to make sure they could help me. I stopped by and was very pleased with the service and information I received from Kylee and Hal. Great experience. This isn't the closest place for me to go to but I'll be sure to return.β
βRocky’s Ace Hardware in Ludlow has the most knowledgeable staff! I plan on renting a Bissel carpet cleaning machine and all my questions were answered. It’s going to be much easier and affordable than I thought. Thanks Rocky’s Ace Hardware!!β
βWe shopped Loweβs and Home for bathroom vanity cabinet combo. Their products are all poor quality materials (pressed particle board), pour surface finish with paint, and no service. And local cabinet businesses where their cabinets were more than 2x the cost for the same quality as Home Oulet. And they had limited designs that we liked. When we walked into Home Outlet, we spotted this beautiful 31β cabinet that was exactly what we were looking for and more! The cabinet was good quality with upscale design cues you would in thousands of dollars cabinets. Moreover, Brendanβ¦store managerβ¦was so courteous and helpful throughout our entire experience. And even went above and beyond after the purchase to make us very happy customers. We went back and bought a 2nd vanity cabinet for our half bath as a result. Highly recommend this business and location!!β

βAfter Calling Several Ace stores and lock smith and even the dealer they all told me it was impossible to cut a new Key and put the internals into a new housing for my 06 civic But this Location was able to do it for me Adian Cut the key Perfectly and then Polished it up a bit with a wire wheel and the new Key worked in the ignition perfectly would recommend to any one who needs a physical key copied her it was 38$ out the doorβ

βI was desperate to get a replacement door for a Fabuwood cabinet that had gotten damaged and needed it in time for a showing of our house which will be listed for sale soon. Diane was absolutely great!! Helpful, quick and went to bat for me to get this as quickly as possible!β
βBought a new Rikon lathe, stand, tools, pen supplies, etc., Got home and started turning right away. Three days later I get a flyer from Woodcraft with same lathe $150 cheaper. Manager told me he'd honor lower price. No issues. I finally got back to store about two weeks later and he gave me $150 gift card and I ended up using it that day, plus some, for more turning supplies. Don't have any real woodworking stores in Capital District of NY, so he's got my business.β

βThis Home Depot is great, The employees are always helpful and are full of knowledge. I went there recently because I had a plumbing problem and spoke to the customer service who was Full of knowledge like most of their employees, he explained what needed to be done To solve my problem and asked if I wanted a service call so I signed up for it willingly. Not even 20 minutes later I got a call from a plumber named Trevor, who came to my house with predatory behavior, nothing but a snake Trevor gave me a totally different spiel than the gentleman I spoke with at the store. The plumber laughed after he said how much it was going to cost and laughed through out the whole conversation. The cost was outrageous so we called different plumbers and we got the same ballpark cost the gentlemen said it would cost at the service desk. I think Home Depot needs to check who they have going to peopleβs houses acting like predators. Maybe it was because my wife was home alone talking to the plumber that came to our house from Home Depot.β
βI need a new faucet for our kitchen, and I need it now. People at Home Depot suggested this company. I was absolutely desperate to find what I needed in time to arrange the replacement this coming Friday. I didn't have an appointment (didn't know I needed one), but Michelle brought me in anyway. She bent over backwards to help me, even though my requirements and assumptions changed several times during the visit. What a patient, knowledgeable, and capable group. Thank you so much! βI was researching e-bikes and came across Highland bike shop. I saw they stocked the Velotric e-bike I was interested in. What a great experience. Very impressed when I walked in. Both the bike display area and service area were very neat and organized. I was greeted right away. I did my research and mentioned the two models I was interested in. Both bikes were pulled out for my inspection. Both the sales person and myself went out for a ride with both bikes. I was very impressed with that. I rode both bikes during the test ride and all of my questions about the two different models were answered and made my decision much easier to make. Such a nice, low pressured, and pleasing experience overall. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.β
